  1. If only there was another thread about this...maybe called singing the blues or something, that would be appropriate, then we could discuss this properly.
  2. You can make up your on mind mate. Maybe im wrong and no one is supporting/backing him but it’s clear to me and obviously to others.
  3. There are 7 pages in this thread, give them a read and if you don’t think that people are defending/making out that king is better than Murray, then nothing I say will convince you. However, there are also other posters in this thread stating that a strange bandwagon of king/murray supporters have been appearing in various threads, which I agree with, but don’t understand why?? Are you saying taht this isn’t the case?
  4. Have you not read some of the stuff posted in this thread alone???
  5. According to plenty on here he/they did ‘save Rangers’. I don’t personally believe that but there seems to be people jumping to the defense of King and slating Murray. Aren’t they both as guilty as each other?
  6. I don’t understand what has happened, Or what impact it will have with Rangers but from the outside it seems that people are quick to tear Paul Murray to shreds. Why were we all happy when they ‘saved the club from the spivs’? Why do people still hold King in the highest regard? inknow it’s the record but the points about warning is of Whyte and Green, and trying to offer a counter deal are true. Has he walked away richer for his part in ‘saving Rangers’?
  7. He is undoubtedly 100 times better than Jack Alnwick!
  8. Get Alnwick to fuck, bombscare of a GK!
  9. I’m generally a fan of Tav and have been since day 1, he can be dangerous for us and his delivery at times (like for the Morelos header) is unreal but he remind me a bit of Edu defensively. Would make amazing basketball players, can press quickly, but never make a tackle. I’ve watched the game back a few times, especially the goals, and although Candeias gets beat, Tierney has 2-3 touches before crossing it and Tav doesn’t move. I think he’s improved, or at least having DC has helped, and I think the pros of him playing outweigh the cons but if we could sell him to a championship team for £2-5m I would take it!
  10. The fact he is there shows how he tracks back, you can’t expect him to win the ball every time. As for allowing Tierney an easy opportunity to cross, watch it again and tell me what our RB, the one who should be stopping the cross is doing. If Tierney had whipped in a ball that was impossible to defend then you could say aye the missed tackle cost us, but the ball was rubbish and only bettered by even worse defending. Candeias plays a part but to say he cost us the goal is daft.
  11. Why because the opposition player beat him? What was Tav doing? Look at the shape of the back line! It’s poor from Candeias allowing the cross but the defending from Martin is what costa the goal!
  12. I agree with all of that other than Docherty. He’s 21 and has played what 10-12 games for us, in a terrible midfield. I would be happy for him to stay for the time being.
  13. It’s mad how people can see a game differently! 1 - Halliday was supposed to be playing on the inside left and was nowhere to be seen. Dorrans should have tracked him Martin just let Dembele do what he wanted and didnt put as much as half a challenge in! Dorrans does end up the wrong side but there are 3 other players in a position to close the ball/make a challenge and neither of them do! 2-3 individual basic errors. 2 - Candias does get beat easily but he’s not a defender. Tav is watching this happen in front of him and just stands back and let’s Tierney cross the ball. The back line in general is a shambles the ball bounces in the box and Martin makes an arse if the clearance. Again it’s 2-3 errors that result in the goal not just Candeais missed tackle 3 - I actually think McCrorie does well to get in front/ goalside against a really physical striker but the mistake he makes is trying to hit it back to the goalkeeper rather than out the pitch. John should have passed the ball and then McRorie should have cleared it. Again 2-3 errors that lead to a goal 4 - This is all Holt for me. His original pass to Doherty was so lazy and when it’s given back to him, a little slack if we are being hyper critical, Holt waits for the ball and misjudges it, but still tries to keep possession and is robbed, then because he is trying to make up for it commits the foul. The loss of possession aside, there are 3-4 passes before Roberts in fouled and we just let him play a 1-2 and cut inside All of the goals were really poor goals defensively. The midfield is rightly getting stick as we never pressed well enough or kept the ball well enough but it was multiple individual errors that cost us!
  14. I've watched the replays a few times and I agree he couldnt have tracked him but there are players guitly of worse than Dorrans for that goal! Declan John, Tav and McCrorie just stood off him!
  15. I was listening to the football phone in the other day and Alex Rae said that he has been following Dorrans all his career and he has always been better suited at being further forward, but he has been played in a different role by various managers. Wouldn't do any harm trying him in there?
  16. Talk about stating the obvious, but as the title of the thread says, we need a manager! We are all hurting right now and the result and lack of performance is raw at the minute, but not having an experienced manager is really hurting us in these big games. I am not having a go at Murty here, he is simply not good enough, but he should never have been put in this position in the first place. The players are getting it in the neck at the moment but there are examples, close to home, of a good manager turning things round despite having the same 'rubbish squad'. Apart from 2 players, Dembele and Ntcham, the rest of their starting 11 were all part of the same team managed by Ronnie Delia...Kilmarnock had not won a match until October last year, when Steve Clarke was appointed, and they are now pushing for 4th, he has signed 4 senior players for a total cost of £0mm! Do we need new players, absolutely, but the most important thing of all is a manager and not someone that has been suggested like Frank De Boer, Sam Allerdyce, Roberto Martinez or Slavan Bilic(what goes through some peoples heads on here) I just dont think there are any obvious outstanding candidates, maybe Clarke? but I honestly cant see what he would want to Rangers at the minute!
  17. Why would preston sell him to us on the cheap? They will want at least £1m and we wont pay that for him.
  18. Don't get your hopes up! We have no money and are shopping in the B&M Bargain Bin for players, and to be really honest, we probably couldnt afford McGinn, Onouha or Moult (unless going cheap) so it will be a lower caliber of player than them.
  19. Like a Belgian Glen Kamara! Although he only lasted 45mins.
  20. I take it you missed the sarcasm in the post when I mentioned the red and white kit and the french commentary i.e showing that I know he plays for Monaco? Some of you cunts are hard work.
  21. Your whole post is based is nothing but assumptions mate! Whether not he will be that good, he was being watched by a lot of teams and touted as a really good prospect, regardless of the team he plays for. I dont agree that Jack is a woeful footballer either but how do you know the mentality of Kamara and Jones? The squad we have at the moment is really poor and if there are young guys that play for supposed 'lesser' teams, and they are performing week in week out, then surely they are worth looking at? I get that one good game doesnt make a player but both players mentioned has done consistenly well in big games this season. I tell you one thing, I am pretty sure I could name you far more duds that we have signed from foreign teams/outwith Scotland, than I could players that we have signed from other 'diddy' SPL/SPFL teams.
  22. I seen him last week mate! It was on a stream so couldnt see very well but Anderlecht's new Red and White kit a belter, although for some reason the commentary was in French!!!
  23. Well that's the case settled, TheGovanIniesta says hes gash so he must be! I would much rather have Jack Hendry than Fabio Cardoso who cost more! The point wasnt about how good Jack Hendry is or isnt, but saying the lad is rubbish because he plays for Dundee is ridiculous.
