  1. He always gave everything for the club and nobody has been integral to Rangers in recent years like he was. While its easy to remember the poor runs of form and fitness problems, he deserves to be celebrated for what he always was, a talented, commanding and inspirational captain with a heart of Blue. Think of the times we took the League and his influence with those. Personally, the run to the UEFA Cup Final 2008 will always stay with me, especially his determination to lead even through the pain barrier (who knows when we will see another European Final again?). Its these special moments that should never be forgotten. Lets all be honest, it will most certainly feel strange starting a season knowing he's away. Best of luck to you, Barry... thanks for everything you gave to your club.
  2. Just been told my first ever season ticket will be in Main Stand Rear, im happy regardless
  3. Just visited Christian Dailly's wikipedia page and it says on the 22nd June (today) he signed with Hibs on a 1 year deal! Furthermore, it states he will be involved in the coaching of the U19s. Surely this can be down to editing mischief from a random user, yeah? check it out below. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Dailly
  4. come on the gers! Ive got a good feeling about this game....despite the team thats been picked. links?...im stuck in uni in aberdeen!
  5. any idea when links for the match will be put up?
  6. Dundee United are not that great a team, seriously. The up their game wen it comes to the Old Firm, but I wouldnt say theyre anythin special. All it takes is a bit of mental block to ignore the Psychological strain that Tannadice gives us. Next time baby, next time. If I was Walter I'd be like "They're Dundee United, theyre mince and we're awesome. Now f****** show them how its done!!"
  7. I didnt know this I knew he presented some award at the scottish asian awards but a didnt know he had a specific role. Tbh, muslim or not, Madjid Bougherra is the main man! (its muslim not moslem :harhar: ) :unionflag:
  8. I have a good feeling on this one, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEASE Walter... do NOT play Charlie Adam!! Think Beasley could get a start to show if he's got more to offer, but I would love to see Aaron or Novo get a wee shot at some point. With Barry still not completely at his best I think Edu could show what he is capable of. Dundee United are a team we have had notorious difficulty playing against at Tannadice, fingers crossed this time we can get it right. I'l be there, cos unfortunately I study in Dundee cannae match our glorious city!
  9. slightly off topic here but will there be tickets still available for the club deck even if i get them early on saturday morning for accies game? reason is that im stuck in aberdeen at the moment, dont finish uni here until friday!
  10. Quite hard to believe really, the match at Ibrox today was the highest attended football match in the UK today and will be the highest attended all weekend with Man U, newcastle and arsenal all playing away from home today. :unionflag: Next highest was Man City v Arsenal I believe, around 44,000
  11. Are they a fully professional senior team?...I think you might be right.
  12. Tranmere is in Birkenhead, not far from Liverpool. West Brom are from West Bromwich, 5 miles from Birmingham.
  13. Random thought came into my head today, how many cities and towns in the UK have more than 1 professional football team? London (13) Manchester (2) Birmingham (2) Sheffield (2) Bristol (2) Nottingham (2) Liverpool (2) Glasgow(3) Dundee (2) Edinburgh (2) 10 cities then?....
  14. Yep I was waiting for it aswell....11pm came and went! They had the stupid golf on but it didnt make sense because that same golf was being broadcast on "Setanta Golf" aswell. Now its athletics pishh on.
  15. Watch out for my cousin in a few years, hes currently in the Hamilton Accies reserves! Trust me hes good!
  16. Nope theres loads of hindus and sikhs in it aswell! :unionflag:
  17. Watch out for my cousin in a few years, hes currently in the Hamilton Accies reserves!
  18. I still reckon 70% of the asians in Scotland support Celtic for the main reasons of Celtic being "green" and that linking up with the green of the Pakistan flag and green colour that represents Islam! Im of the 30% minority though, a Ger thru and thru!
  19. I dont see it on bbc or teamtalk or skysports!
  20. Didnt know andrew marr the presenter was from glasgow.
