  1. bouggie get real your not even in the top 5 best ever rangers great center halfs

if he's been voted POTY last year at the PROPER and exlusive rangers forum, and this year in the GREAT R.M by the forumists themselves, surely he appears among the top 5 greatest..................that's if not top of the list (tu)

Bougherra isn't even our best defender in the last 3 years.

Dont want to jump on the Bougherra bashing train but thanks to a certain 40 year old its debatable to whether he's even the best defender at the club now...

  2. How many other golfers could take 5mths off without swinging a golf club, have all the shit that's came his way, come back and be in contention for the Masters?

I reckon Tiger may come back and ultimately be more focused and stronger.

    I think this too.

A big factor in not winning the Masters was lack of tournament practise. He will be playing Quail Hollow before the US Open so I think he thinks this way as well.

After a while longer to get back into the flow I think he'll come back a better player than before.

  3. Arsenal will be lucky to see 40% possession tonight.

I'm pretty sure Guardiola won't play Milito and Marquez together as they have barely played this season and he won't take a chance on Chygrynskiy who has been horrendous since signing. Abidal only returned at the weekend against Bilbao and he looked pretty good so I expect him to play at CB tonight if Yaya Toure is out.

Sergio Busquets is a quality player but I wish he would speed things up. At times he is far too slow but still a very good player. Bojan has not hit the heights of when he first broke through into the team and I don't think he is anywhere near as good as Pedro Rodriquez.

I fancy a 3-1 win for Barca tonight.

The possession thing may well be true but it isn't about possession.

If Arsenal can keep it tight at the back and press the midfield I think Barca could struggle to score.

With Abidal only just returning and only having played 1 game he wont quite be 100% and while I actually think Walcott can be pretty pish both Abidal and Maxwell will dread him running at them.

I actually think Barca will still win, I just don't think it'll be the romp that some people seem to think.

  4. Can't see past a Barcelona win by a few goals.

    I think the Barca team will be;

    Valdes

    Alves Milito/Marquez Abidal Maxwell

    Busquets Xavi Keita

    Messi Bojan Pedro

I'd imagine it'd be something like that as well and to be honest it's not thatstrong.

Milito hasn't been fantastic since his return, Marquez is very very meh, Abidal isn't great either and has been out a while. It's already been shown that if Walcott plays he has the beating of Maxwell. I personally think Busquets is nowhere near Barca quality, he got found out in the first leg. Keita's good but not that good. Other than a pretty good finisher Bojan isn't very good.

I dont see it being anything like a 3/4/5-0 trouncing that people are predicting.

I'm not sure what injuries Arsenal have but is it too far off to assume their team will be something like:

    Almunia

    Sagna Cambell Vermalen Clichy

Nasri Denilson Diaby (is he fit?)

    Walcott Bendtner Rosicky

That could be well off actually.

Either way, they wont just bend over. They will obviously have to play very well but they are very capable.

  5. Tiger won't win this.

The scores from his early practice rounds haven't been great.

Doesn't mean that much to be honest.

I was up at the practise rounds for the Open at Turnberry and he was really amazing, then went on to miss the cut.

For what it's worth I dont think he'll win either, however if he's still in with a shout come the final round it'll be interesting to see how that effects the leaders. In the past they would typically crumble, does he still have that effect? I'd think yes.

Villegas at 40/1, Schwartzel at 50/1 and O'hair at 50/1 will be my bets.

Wont rule out Mickleson, Els, Striker etc though.

Hope McIlroy has a good run.

  6. He probably could become a decent player for someone eventually but I dont think it'll ever happen here.

    Take the money and run.

I actually think Walter would take that. People seem to think the management will pick him no matter what but the truth of the matter is they have publically slated his performances and left him out the squad completely in recent weeks.
