Good player on his day - amazing energy and passion. I think if he gets a sustained run he could easily hit 20-25 goals a season again. He let us down in Aberdeen though last week, I cringed when I seen his reaction to the red card.

That sounds like a punishment for Charlie boy. Do you think he fell out with management? He had a mysterious training ground injury and seemed to recover very quickly after we lost a few players through injuries. I kind of hope Charlie Adam stays next season. He's not the best but he has a good left foot on him and he is at least willing to have a pop at goal now and again.

Broadfoot done well and can only improve in upcoming months. It also gives us the option of playing Whittaker at left back and Broadfoot at right back if we pick up any injuries. Well done Kirk :beer2:

It wouldn't surprise me if he gets bloody injured in the next couple of days. Can he play in Europe? Not sure how the registration process goes now a days. (Off topic, but since injuries are mentioned) Is it just me or are the club paying Andy Webster's wages out of the goodness of their hearts?

Will be a problem in Europe up front especially if Cousin goes and Darch has to serve the 3 match ban. I thought Velicka from Hearts would have been a good and fairly cheap move since we didn't look like spending much money in the transfer window. He's done it against Celtic and is a half decent player.

It's good news that Stevie Smith is on the come back trail. To be honest though we'll probably see the real Stevie Smith next season as he fights for his fitness. I think Walter never signed a left back because he was coming back - hopefully this doesn't come back to haunt us - I can only imagine what will happen to Sasa Papac against Celtic

Good news for us and for Cousin - Fulham will get relegated this season and I don't see him being happy in the lower league. He may be lazy but he's a big solid goalscorer and will lead the line well for us in the Uefa cup which will hopefully spur him on to get noticed. He doesn't play for the jersey, doesn't want to be here yet he can still put in a vital goal or assist when we need it most.

Gutted that Hutton has left in this window. At the time I thought it wasn't such a bad move as Walter would have used the money to bolster the squad for the title run in. New signings would have 6 months to gel with team mates too. We should have held out and sold him at the end of the season.

Worrying news. If we get another couple of injuries, which is almost certain to happen, the squad will certainly struggle. We're grinding out results at the moment and enjoying quite a lucky/hard fought spell. We'll be done in if Ferguson gets injured. Can't believe that Walter and Martin Bain travelled to Italy together. We put our eggs into one basket and it backfired.
