the type of 4-3-3 that we play though always looks to much like 4-5-1 the front man never gets enough support, if we are going to play "4-3-3" we need to make sure the front man has plenty support, there was alot of times today especially in the first half when Miller looked isolated (i know it's just a pre-season match) but it happens alot when we play this formation my point as well if we play 4-3-3 then the 2 wide forwards HAVE to get up front more often i prefer the 4-4-2 where we have to right up top strikers Think you've hit the nail on the head without realising there.. Novo & Lafferty aren't wide players, and Lafferty for sure hugs the touchline way too much imho, should be moving inside far more, interchanging with the midfield and Novo, letting the full back overlap after drawing their full back inside.

Wasn't it said by WS at the beginning of the transfer silly season that he was after signing a defender (centre back), a winger & a forward? Why the hell we need another forward is beyond me but there ya go.

Liverpool then Millwall. Have seen him a good few times down there and he is quality. Wall fans don't want him to leave thats for sure.
