the type of 4-3-3 that we play though always looks to much like 4-5-1 the front man never gets enough support, if we are going to play "4-3-3" we need to make sure the front man has plenty support, there was alot of times today especially in the first half when Miller looked isolated (i know it's just a pre-season match) but it happens alot when we play this formation
my point as well
if we play 4-3-3 then the 2 wide forwards HAVE to get up front more often
i prefer the 4-4-2 where we have to right up top strikers

Novo & Lafferty aren't wide players, and Lafferty for sure hugs the touchline way too much imho,
should be moving inside far more, interchanging with the midfield and Novo, letting the full back overlap
after drawing their full back inside.
