Kicking a referee's door has led to St Johnstone right-back Richard Foster receiving a two-match suspension for "excessive misconduct". It came after his side's 3-2 defeat by Dundee at Dens Park on 19 September. Sofien Moussa scored the winning goal from the penalty spot after referee Alan Muir ruled that Foster had fouled A-Jay Leitch-Smith in the area. The alleged action in damaging the door was also spotted by Muir, who included it in his match report. Foster will miss the Scottish Premiership visit by Rangers on 13 October and the trip to Edinburgh to face Hearts eight days later. The former Aberdeen and Rangers player served a two-match ban - and was fined by the Perth club - last season for fighting with team-mate Danny Swanson during a match against Hamilton Academical
