Yes it was. McCoist said he heard the contact even before he'd had the benefit of watching it again.
Brines must have heard it. Even if he didn't see enough to give the penalty, the sound of the tackle should have stopped him booking Aluko.
I also read elsewhere that the BBC commentators heard the contact in the press area.
Like most I'm not a big fan of Referees, but I do realise they have a very very difficult job, I doubt that an unidentified noise will have registered greatly in the nano-second he had to make a decision.
Whatever, we won and referees make mistakes.

To be fair to the poor cunt, after just watching the highlights there, it seemed he was slightly unsighted and Sone did delay a touch before going down.
That said, he was entitled to go down as there was undoubted contact.
Just saying I don't think it was as bad as some are making out.

A would agree just off front man or centre mid i find he would also be decent
Haha, that's a good one. Truly funny.

We are currently being well and truly dp'd.

I think people who say they would not follow any new Co are maybe rebelling against any would be owners who think they've nothing better to do than liquidate a 140 year old institution with purely finances in mind.
I don't blame them, even although I firmly believe that after liquidation the new Co would still be Rangers as we know it, only with a new business arm, I would grudge giving support to anyone who never fought tooth and nail to preserve the very important historical lineage.

Happens every year.
He gets Sodomised in Europe versus decent players, it then takes around 6 months to recover confidence v sub-par spl dross. At which point he masquerades as a good player.
Rinse and repeat.

More conspiracy.
David Grier - worked with Whyte prior to RFC admin, employee of d&p
Paul Clark - director or member of company used by Whyte to raise cash for ibrox refurb, employee of d&p
D&P appointed by Whyte and currently fielding questions of apparent incompetence.
-
I don't trust anyone who it making financial decisions at Rangers anymore.
I don't trust anyone who has a connection to that horrible cunt Whyte.
Anyone who is both of the above should be afforded absolutely zero faith.
-
The history is definitely not erased!
This is the drum we need to be beating the fuck out of because liquidation looks likely and the history is the most important loss for me and most.
We must get well versed in the technicalities here, preparation.
-
To be honest, when I read de Boers comments, I thought he was involved.
I was getting my money from Rangers, I wasn't looking at what they did with it.
Not exactly cut and dried.

I still can't see how we owe ticketus £24m and whyte £18m
The mind boggles.
-
also seems clear to me the blue knights are the only ones that want a cva. hence their work with ticketus.
others must want us liquidated.
But, according to boss, hmrc will block a cva if they see that ticketus will get all their cash back via TBK.
Anyone thinking otherwise is delusional.
That means we're fucked anyway, no?
-
forlanssister posted it on ff. its true.
Whyte has too many previous connections with this d&p mob for my liking.
Nevermind that Clarks company are directly affected by this.
-
one of our administrators is a director of close leasing it seems. the only company guaranteed to get all its cash back if we are liquidated.
that's a conflict of interest if ever their was one.
Surely not.
If this is true questions must be asked.
Truly unbelievable.

The season we beat Aberdeen in the last game title decider, big Hateley.
We beat hearts and hibs 4-0 that season, it was one of those games.
-
seems strange he's withdrawn and told us to back the blue knights.
but I would be delighted with anything that's not this hedge fund.
Agreed, that's exactly what I was thinking, but that is what the tweet says.
Matt Slater bbc.

Just watched it back for the first time. Was in such a frenzy at the game didn't realise how well young McCabe played.
He ran the show first half, best player on the park.

Some BBC journo tweeting that Kennedy is expected to return with improved offer.
-
it isn't really. the admins say whytes irrelevant. they will just have to make that the case.
Murrays statement clearly indicates that he - who has d&p on speeddial - doesn't think Whyte irrelevant.
-
The situation once again, is looking dire.
-
Its reported as 5.5m, by most.
-
5 million was a piss poor deal for Yela at the time, and is looking even worse now.
-
think it was around 50 fans and they couldnt sell more than 2k for Kennedy's testimonial.
Was there not 50 odd thousand at Kennedys testimonial?

And HMRC will not accept a CVA while Ticketus are getting all their money back via TBK.
HMRC can (and will) hold this position to the end, whereas Ticketus will have to blink to protect their investors or they'll get nothing.
Anyone that thinks HMRC will accept a CVA while Ticketus get all their money back is delusional.
Hmrc will be monitoring potential Bidders?
