It's what we're reduced to.
I'm not too fussed what they call us, I suffer no offence to the word h** but if we are being hounded and censored left and right, then we are duty bound to ensure the laws are applied consistently.
It's a can of worms, it's going to end in freedom of speech being made a mockery of.
-
I fought the IRA is now illegal to say?!?
-
Who gives a fuck if it's whataboutery, asking if rules and regulations are being applied consistently and fairly, is a valid question in any debate. Asking if there is precedent for apparent regulation violation is also a valid question.
Just because someone gave this practice a silly name doesn't make it wrong imo.
-
Everybody should get it on their facebooks and twitter.
I agree with the OP.
This could be a night to be proud of, or it could be an embarrassment which will be more ammo for the slack arses.

I found myself agreeing with Murray in a lot of it, he seems adamant his only mistake was selling the club to Whyte and you could tell he still wants the absolute best for Rangers, his comments about how the rest of Scotland would die without us, even the beggars
Thought he handled himself well enough
Agreed. On both counts.
His biggest mistake was Whyte imo.

Ebts are or rather were legal. Its the way we used them, discretionary gifts like cars or houses could be gifted through them, not a problem.
Apparently hmrc are in possession of emails between the club and players agents which indicate illegal abuse of the scheme. Smoking gun.

The most worrying part of that piece was when they returned to the studio and stated talking to the tax expert.

5 of us going, bar 72.

They wouldn't be an obstacle anyway as a CVA would be the only way they'd get anything back. (Assuming the ruling went in their favour)
Ticketus are in a very weak position here.
The arse they have made of this deal doesn't fill me with confidence in their abilities.
There would be little point taking them on just to get a CVA. Thats like going to a loan shark to get an overdue credit card bill paid. Eventually the shark will want paid and you're in a bigger mess.
Well if ticketus think that they can get more than 10p in the pound through liquidation and sale of assets then presumably they would refuse the proposed cva.
Having them on board would maybe allow negotiation of the terms of repayment, i.e much longer term than three years, 10,15 maybe 20, who knows?
These would be questions that TBK's should have to answer.
-
So why would we want TBK's deal which saddles us with £24m debt plus another £5m for working capital. plus interest ?
That's before we spend anything on the team.
Or are they just not doing that ?
On the 5 live debate last night it was suggested that having ticketus onboard would remove them as an obstacle to a successful cva.
Which is of course the ideal solution.

a youth player was recently told if he didn't stop playing football and go long he was getting taken off.
frightening.
I am finding this very difficult to believe, can you give some details?

Hatton is a better grappler than fighter.

Hatton will be lucky to see 9.

A mate of mine's son is fighting on sky tonight so i think i will take that in.
Who is it?
-
I think both Martinez and Brook will shine tonight. Both have opponents which suit their style and showcase their talents.
-
What I'm not getting my head around is this, if these potential bidders are making conditional offers i.e looking for clarity on the various tax case liabilities - and at the same time hmrc are only willing to do a deal with the condition that Craig Whyte is no longer in charge, then how do you proceed?
Catch 22.

Steven Pressley, the faux Braveheart shtick, the way he talks, the permanently down turned mouth and the obvious bullshit he constantly blethers makes me want to punch the nearest Tim.

Just had a look through today's boxing news.
Chisora's licence withdrawn indefinitely.
Rumours that Burns has pulled out of Mitchell negotiations.
Boxing these days
I am a hardcore fan of boxing and a stout defender of the sport but even I have to admit that this is one of the worst runs of shit for many moons.
It will recover though, and only needs a few changes to return it to its former glory.
Those changes don't look like happening anytime soon though. Shame.

I like Groves but if this convenient bad back turns out to be bullshit I will have lost a lot of respect for him. Fans will have bought tickets/hotels/travel for that event. Many will have paid for Boxnation (which is looking threadbare cinco de mayo aside).
I'd say with 99% certainty that it's definitely bs.

Johnny Hayes might be worth a punt.

Kessler pulled with an injured hand.

if he fights Mitchell I will be in amongst the Mitchell fans
I think I'll join you mate.

I suspect Texas to be a Mhank.
Ticketus deal may be "financial assistance"
in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom

I think ticketus have positioned themselves intelligently and are still in a very strong position.
They will now be part of any cva, however, they will not accept any cva offer. Leaving TBK bid - which would remove ticketus as an obstacle to the aforementioned cva - as the only viable buyer.
