I totally agree, Miller has been good for us but Jelavic is a quality player.

Buddle looks a no bad player from what ive heard, scored a ton of goals in MLS, slightly disappointed with Miller only going for 650K but thats football i suppose.

to the celtic fan, take a look at your strikers: Samaras = shite, Fortune = shite, Rasmussen = shite, hutchinson = WHO?!, sheridan = pish, Murphy = pish, McGowan = never heard of him so he must be shite, and hooper who played for Scunthorpe, Scunthorpe!! Beattie is well better than any of the strikers you have, and he'll be bagging the goals in, and end up being the SPL top goalscorer, WATP :beattie:

Think Beattie looks like the only striker who might sign considering Smith bid got rejected from portsmouth and they have stated they dont want to sell him and i just cant see Jelavic making the move from Rapid anymore

Aye i know exactly what you mean. I rate young Jamie Murphy and David Goodwillie to be quite good players, although i dont think they would cope at Ibrox. Conway did give Dundee Utd exactly that with his crossing into Daly who is like Beattie - Strong and good in the air - and I think it would be better to sign someone of Conways age because he still has many years of football ahead of him, whilst with Smith we may only got 1 or 2 good seasons out of him.

I think he'll do great up here. When watching MOTD i saw him come off the bench and score goals for stoke so he is a goalscorer.

aye i know what you mean mate. it is a shame cause i was impressed with Mphela in S.A but hopefully if we get Beattie, Jelavic or Smith we'll be fine. Only problem with that Tommy Smith is that he only scored one goal in 19 appearances for Portsmouth. Wont write him off yet though, he might come and be a huge success at Rangers.
