  1. I would take him, yes he is a tim, but so was Miller and most fans seemed to accept him so therefore it is very hypocritical to use that arguement now. Riordan was never given a chance at Celtic and can score 20 goals from midfield, has a great free kick and he would like nothing more to get it up the tims. Derek Riordan is a very talented player that our coaching staff could improve. Remember it was THE MAJORITY of Rangers fans that were booing Charlie Adam, a young man short of confidence with undoubted ability, look how much they know.
  2. I think some people seem to forget how bad the SPL has dropped since around 2005 Namouchi could easily do a job for us. Played at a World Cup, and played well against Spain when the Tunisians were one - nil up at half time to a side that now dominates. Although he is no great technical player he does work very hard and let the opposition know he is there. Who else have we signed this summer?
  3. Walter Smith is great manager. Only other manager who has dealt with the financial restraints like the ones now was McLeish (another great manager and now proving it in England). If Eck hadn't done what he done the tims would have done 8 in a row and we would have been considerably weaker. Advocaat won LESS trophies than McLeish and spent MILLIONS Those who feel Advocaat is a touch on Smith are arseholes. One thing I don't understand is, Why does he keep getting heavy duty money time and time again?
  4. Adam was a good player on his day, just that most days he was fat and inconsistent
  5. Its on the BBC website now Think the boy is making a bit of a harsh decision. Surely another few years with a guaranteed starting place would not have done him any harm. Could easily fade away into a nobody down there. Liverpool are hardly flying high just now either. Got to ask who this boys agent is, advising on signing for a manager who be offski this summer or shortly after. Happened to Hutton, a far more established player than Wilson Saddest thing is the youth development is working, we just can't hold onto any player with quality
  6. Advocaat is a greatly overrated manager in my opinion. Has never really built a good side for a long period ANYWHERE and not without some big cheques being signed why did he change a very good side that had won back to back championships to put in konterman and ricksen who were a shambles in that 2000/2001 season Mouthwatering football at times i agree, but at some price and without much more success on paper than mcleish or smiths latest spell in charge have delivered He also beat us in the UEFA cup final to rub salt in the wound Dick Advocaat's reign in charge was one of the worst things that happened to Rangers
  7. All very well its a rangers pub but it was full of skadgy neds a lot of the time, they lost the licence because of the amount of stuff that went on later into the night after the games. It attracted some heavy scumbags to it, All the pubs in kinning park maintain some sort of order, this place ripped the pish. Was in it once or twice though, and it was a good laugh, if a tad unsubtle.
  8. in fairness to mourinho he came and said he admired smiths work a few seasons ago
  9. Spot on shares my view completely. Hopefully challenge to get 2nd or the uefa cup dropdown
  10. No, I would prefer every game to be sold out This game is not sold out because of the game. It is sold out because after the game Howard from the bank will give the team the trophy. and as for the champs league next year even 1 massive side will force a sell out, I remember the year we got man utd and barca
  11. Aye but the league, cups and champions league are we would be better equipped with a full stadium of fans and more money from ticket sales would help the club In this regard it is a competition, you can only support the club by shouting the team on and by spending money on them. These gloryhunters do not help the club really
  12. The match day experience is rotten that is for sure, I'm tiring of it quite badly The Uefa Cup Final wasn't really Rangers fans, the majority were there for a day out I just couldn't go to the stadium after turning my back on other games, would feel like a fraud Its worth noting that if we get a glamorous draw for the champions league next year that too will sell out
  13. Because in my opinion they are glory hunters. The excuses of Work, Money etc etc are viable no doubt, but come sunday most people will conveniently get past these hurdles I don't expect people with other commitments to show up week in week out but I know of a few people going on the final sunday who have not been there all season. Not sure what my point is but I do feel some resent towards these people
