  1. Just spotted a good laptop with decent processor and have seen it in the shops for £499. It is the Dell 15.6” Model N5010 i3 Blue one. Can I get it for much cheaper and also do the usual guarantees hold? Can you get Norton (or better) discs online too? Anyone got any advice for me?
  2. Although I'm a lifetime member of the RST the thing to remember is that they're just a 'young' organisation and in time they'll improve - whether they can do our bidding successfully is still to be seen. On a Political note - yes I'm a Commie but I'm not here to throw mud at the Tories, I think ALL Rangers fans have a place and I don't want Rangers to become like 'The Borg' with us all thinking alike, division is natural among a lot of people, in fact it's the dialectics of what being a Rangers fan is all about! When I can't go into a Rangers pub (or website) and argue black is white then it'll be time to walk away, but as Rangers fans we realise this and don't go in for this "we're all the same" nonsense, there's things that make us alike and these are important things but variety is the spice...
  3. Must say that although this latest Uefa nonsense is a big slap in the face, it's the accumulated wee slaps that've got us into this position! From the moment we laughed as the drunk Archer walked up and down Byres Rd (laying a path for Queers) throwing up his hatred for Rangers to this moment in time they've been wearing us down. It's not so much that we don't fight back, some of us don't even see what's been going on. Sure the club is to blame for not providing a lead but as individuals we are to blame too. Look at the some of the wee slaps. Todays Metro has the headline with 'disproportionate' punishment in it and although Bain had quite rightly said "there was a disproportionate response to these type of 'offences'" meaning we are being singled out, it looks to those just taking a casual look at the Metro as though we've admitted an offence and are asking for leniency! For fekk sake what is happening is tantamount to victimisation, because we're on our arses and won't fight back! The big European clubs have problems with fans much worse than ours! Plenty sing songs in praise of Terrorists and Ethnic/Religious divisions! Another wee example this week was that the Herald done a great wee piece on Third Lanark and although I enjoyed reading it, the guy promoting the idea 'Weir' said he hoped that Cathkin Park would get a rebirth then came out with something like "although we already have great stadia in Glasgow with Hampden and Celtic Park we..." My God, this a couple of days after Ibrox was apparently put on some Top 50 attractions of Glasgow! God, knows what the other 49 are and why had it taken so long, also surely it should be in the Top 10 yrs ago! That's the kind of guff that passes day in and day out without Rangers FC and our fans bothering - had Celtic Park been omitted in a similar type of article there would have been BIG fallout, but it wouldn't have happened, because it was just another sign of the state we're in that the Herald can let shite like that through without bothering.. A while back I wrote to Glasgow Libraries because the one in Byres Rd had a wee 'Old Firm' showcase with the clubs histories inside a glass case - I complained that the Tim in the Library had put the 'Rangers side' of the case towards the wall and no-one could see it, all that was seen was the green and white and their old pictures etc etc. I came on forums asking others to complain and some even said I was worse that the Tims!!!! While back a stupid lassie on Radio calling Ibrox 'Castle Greyskull' and trying to pass it off as a joke! Try calling Parkhead 'The Paedodome' on the Radio and seeing if that flies... It seems a Scottish (Celtic supporting) MP thinks it's okay to support (and sing songs in support of) Terrorists, but it's not okay for us Gers fans to sing songs against those people! If that's okay the question needs to be asked: should we become Terrorists? Should we organise ourselves into wee groups and 'take out' and terrorise people who don't like us? Can you imagine Queers getting ripped as a wee warning, with us fans singing something that applauded it? Let's all laugh at Queers aha ha ha... They say that Terrorism comes when people have been disenfranchised by the Political system and don't have a voice, and when it comes to South Afica and the Palestine they have points, but the same doesn't apply to Ireland or the area's in Spain that give rise to Terrorists! These ****s have plenty of leeway. If Rangers fans continue to be ignored and victimised then surely we are gonna react in some manner? The accumulated affect of these wee slaps in the face is that a lot of Rangers fans just walk away (that's the point of the attacks in the first place) and either support a wee team, or don't bother with football again, and then there's those that get more right-wing (and bigotted) in their attitude, seeing these attacks as the Leftist (Communist/Socialist) Catholic Celtic supporting Labour Party and think it shows them to be right - wrong, these Rangers haters AREN'T left-wingers in reality they have nowt to do with Socialism, Socialism is just the particular vehicle they're driving at the moment! So let's all be realistic about what's happening, it's happening because: 1. Our apathy towards propaganda. 2. Our wish for an 'easy life'. 3. Allowing these ****s to draw the Political lines. and so many other reasons We need to: 1. Get involved with Politics (don't just turn away as soon as the word 'Socialism' is mentioned - in my opinion Rangers fans are much more naturally 'Socialist' than that shower and the Politics of the Scum is more in keeping with Fascists!, they're the fekking 'H**ns' not us!). 2. React to what is going on and demand answers. 3. Push the club towards becoming more Politically aware - at the moment they're still coming out with this guff about 'politics not having a place in sport'! In a perfect world it wouldn't but this aint no perfect... RANGERS FANS NEED TO BECOME POLITICAL AND GET INVOLVED - NOW!
  4. I'm away now (Jesus H, if that doesn't line up a decent bit of cheek...) I have to be honest and say I'm disappointed at the level of offensiveness, I could be half pissed (another chance...) and still be more sharp than some of you lot, you must either be very young or from very polite society! Hang your heads in shame!
  5. Definitely not as strong as the stuff you are on son!!! My God, you'd think people would change the patter - it's like playing Chess with Chimps! Whatever happened to originality?
  6. It's a bit like queues in the Shopping Centre, you leave one to join another that looks as if it's going fast and all of a sudden that queue is shut and when you go back to your original queue... I say let's stand a while longer and see if a new checkout operator appears, of course we can all tut-tut and hope... or we could get organised and serve ourselves! Good wee analogy that!
  7. Yes, if they're stuck for it they can cash in their Life Insurance and take out another policy later. They could also borrow it... not from Lloyds TSB right enough!
  8. See, I new (that's your chance to get one back on me - go on take it!) you'd come round and end up liking me! You'll be wanting to take me for a pint next! Btw on this Uefa Sectarian charge there's a line from Sting in one of his songs with the Police: "It's a big enough umbrella but it's ALWAYS us that end up getting wet". There, that's there for the Rangers News's next headline!
  9. All i can say is that I'm likely a typical (from a financial p.o.v.) Rangers fan. I could and would put up £5,000 right away 'if' the right consortium was organised. If Whyte/Ellis ask for owt they'll get absolutely hee haw from me!
  10. It's not that we need to curb the players freedom of speech, just point them in the directions of things NOT TO SAY. ie things where the words NO COMMENT are at the forefront of the players minds. Celtic's back to back games Lennon (TLB one that is) and these (prob) kid-on threatening letters Sectarianism Eufa rulings re Rangers fans etc etc If they really must say owt on these subjects it should be at the end of a WINNING season and as soon as the new season gets underway it should be back to 'no comment'... 'i'm not qualified to answer that' 'i have no interest in that' etc etc
  11. Fair(ish) point I'm a fast typist and this wee laptop is very sensitive - I call it my wee pet Tim! I take the point on the TSB!
  12. Come the revolution we'll not be watching football we'll all be out playing it, and then on to discuss why I had been right all those yrs!
  13. Firstly, I’d say the odds are totally against us so we need to use our grey matter when it comes to the mhedia to increase our chances. It’s always hard to criticise Walter when it comes to the mhedia as there seems to be some rationale in whatever he says, but I clearly can criticise the players – what foolish lines they’ve been giving the Rangers hating newspapers! Recently we’ve had Davie Weir coming to Celtics defence saying it’s not fair that they have to play a few games back to back. Davie! Davie! Davie! For all the years playing it’s clear you’ve no idea about mind games. All he did was give Celtic F.C. more headlines to make out they are ‘put upon’, of course Celtic took the opportunity to say “Don’t worry about us we’ll handle it” in other words ‘unlike us in WS’s first full season they’ll not complain’. Not be it for the mhedia to bring up the fact that it was those cunts that had the nerve to complain in the first place! Davie, please keep it buttoned! Next we had Steven Naismith. God, every time that boy opens his mouth I just wanna curl up with a cocoa in a dark room. Firstly, a wee while back I recall saying that he should be shown the door if he didn’t do owt in the blue of Rangers. He has since come on leaps and bounds and would be (along with Jelavic, Davis and a couple of others) first on my team sheet – great player! But, when it comes to headlines he’s a fool! Prior to the Celtic match last night he was coming out with the silly nonsense about the pressure now being firmly on Celtic (just because we scraped a win in Perth!!!) and we’ll see how they handle it! Anyone with any knowledge of the game would say that Celtic were stone wall certs for the 3 points last night. Hibs confidence must’ve been at an all-time low having played against 10 men of Hearts and still not won. The reason they beat us 3-0 at Ibrox earlier in the season had to do with the same reasons that the Arabs won 3-2. Diouf… What can you say about this fool? Personally, the only time I’d play him is the final game against the Taigs, and I’d only bring him on for the last 5 mins if we were winning by a couple of goals – for the soul reason of a wind-up, get him to stand in front of Broon with the old ‘idiot’ stance, and watch the numpty go ape shit, and laugh as the mhedia tried to do a different dance to the same tune! Lafferty: Yet again I’d get him to button it. This lad will be great for Rangers under the right conditions but as far as the media goes keep him to fekk away from them! If I was a pal of his I’d be telling him to button it UNTIL we have the SPL won and then to wind up TLB! What all the players should be reiterating is: We’re going through a bad wee spell but we’ll get better once our important players return. Our squad has been whittled down to next to nothing, and hopefully next season… Generally, referring to next season – as though this season has been a disaster. Also, stop mentioning the League Cup final as if it was some great achievement, that just tells the Tarriers the LC is all we expect to win this season! We expect Celtic to win all their games until the split. After the split they can apply a wee bit of pressure on the Tims by using some mind games (mixing it) between them and Hearts prior to their game at Tynecastle. And do likewise with certain other games. Basically, there’s a lot of pressure (mostly reverse psychology) that can be brought to bare on Celtic but if you’re gonna enter into mind games then at least make sure you have some grey cells and a strategy in your head!
  14. Sometimes things have to get worse before they get better - i'm concerned with the llong term future of Rangers not just next season!
  15. Id rather Murray stayed in charge for the time being… To be honest the only takeover I want is one where Whyte (and Ellis especially) are nowhere in sight! Id rather Murray stayed in charge of the club until a Businessman organising a fans buy-out came to the fore. Now, Im no lover of Capitalists but if there is a (real) Rangers supporting Capitalist out there with the right attitude the time is almost right for you to come to the fore. What this businessman needs to ensure is that they will be a clear-out of the Murray sycophants, no more David this and David that asslickers like Alastair Johnston (unpaid my ass hell likely get his after David has punted the club) and Bain! No more hiding behind business jargon to hide shenanigans in the clubs spread sheets. I hope Whytes bid gets withdrawn at the last minute for me all those fans desperate to see this takeover go through are like lemmings heading for a cliff.. Not only will Ellis and Whyte asset strip theyll likely try and con more cash from Rangers fans too, queue headlines of we can move forward, but only together… God, these are worrying times to be a Rangers fan…
  16. It's fuck off you stupid 'gunslinger' your guns aint working too well eh! I don't know seems whatever site you go...
  17. Well mate if he was meant to facilitate the takeover part of that would be to ensure that the books were in order for the new owner, it wouldn't be to cook the books it would be to lay them out in good order for easy viewing... The fact that it 'appears' he's not being paid doesn't take away his responsibility. Remember it's always been the case with Murray that EVERYTHING ISN'T WHAT IT APPEARS TO BE!
  18. If my work pays me too hours, I'll not say so, but I'll be aware of it. If the Tax people don't take the right amount of tax then I definitely wouldn't say owt but at least I'd be aware of it!!! I'd also have any sum of money I owe (but was keeping schtum about) put by for when they did spot the mistake - YOU ALWAYS COVER YOURSELF! Rangers have been run very badly to say the least and we need folk in Adminstration that know what they're doing!!! You wouldn't really have to set it aside as 'unpaid tax' all we needed to do was put £3 Million aside for 'unknowns'...
  19. This £2.8 Million in back taxes really is a laugh - what has this bloke been doing since he 'supposedly' took over as Chairman of RFC! The buck stops at the top! Get him out pronto!
  20. Jesus H, i'd be at my knuckles if it went to 90mins without us lining up the three points...
