  1. When he tires of his wee toy they'll be singing a different song - it's all just egotism and at the moment the Chelsea fans are feeding his but in time he'll tire of it and realise it's not him the idolise it's his readdies!!!!!!!
  2. Your opinion means absolutely no-thing to me but just in the off-chance it means something to others I'll answer one part of your post. For a while (about 2/3 yrs) i boycotted Rangers (didn't go to Ibrox) sick to the stomach of David Murray and what he was/wasn't doing to/for the club/fans and I stuck to it pretty well. If Whyte/Ellis take over it'll be more of the same (and i think it'll be much worse) and that being the case YES i won't be going to Ibrox and i will be starting a new boycott - there's no way my money is gonna be thrown away, I wouldn't give it to a drunk to piss it up against a wall and i certainly won't fork out money to two men who don't give a rats arse for me! That's my intent! As for ALWAYS being a supporter well, I've supported them since Jim Forrest was putting them in the back of the pokey and I'll support them til i die - but if (don't know why i said 'if' but i suppose if they get in, like everyone i'll 'hope' i'm wrong) Whyte / Ellis think they'll use the club as D Murray did and just see us as 'assets' to rip the shit out of they can go and fekk themselves! You give them your money if you like, but for me that doesn't make you a better Rangers fan than me, in fact i could argue that it does the opposite! When Rangers fans take to demonstrating outside the ground that they won't put up with anymore profiteering then we'd see things change - you'll continue to do what you are now, and that's up to you but don't try and make me out any less of fan than you because of that!
  3. Best suggestion I've read thus far (which naturally excludes Ellis) is from Elblue on another site: If Whyte's motive is as stated, and the motive of Murray, King and Park is the same, ie all parties are in it to "save " Rangers, then why don't they combine their assets to produce a financial package which clears the debt, ridding us of the bank involvment and providing enough funds to rebuild the team and renovate Ibrox and Murray Park?
  4. Aaah Thermopylae STILL hanging on the coat-tails of the right wing i see! It's almost like having mice back in the house!
  5. Why oh why can you never address the points in question? The more things change the more they stay the same - bp evades questions alert the media! There you go again peter using all those bad words like pish... sorry 'usual pish'... You've never been able to argue that point articulately so take the easy option of slating the font! I'd say i was disappointed but that'd mean i'd need to have harboured hopes of you actually saying something of note...
  6. All the ALARM BELLS go off when you mention his name, so the fact that Whyte is happy jumping into bed with him says he's not worthing. Everything suggests Ellis has put Whyte forward as a stalking horse and from what i can see he'll be happy to do that providing there's something in it for him at the end of the day... ...or should that be the end of the Rangers?
  7. I'm not for changing for the sake of it - in time we'll get shot of both David Murray and LBG. No point in being pushed into something (Whyte and Ellis) that (gives every indication of) spelling the end of RFC!
  8. No I'm not but we can't have them dictating what is gonna happen to the club - they'll get paid when we're ready! They were happy to loan the money so they can wait! You and I bailed those ***** out and they'll have to accomodate us - hate being in debt but it's better to be in debt for a wee while longer than to pay off that debt and end up letting the club be destroyed!
  9. Rangers need to be owned by as many Rangers Supporters as possible and that may initially mean a group of business with Rangers at their heart but also you and i being able to input cash. I have about £5,000 to put in (and could garner a wee bit more) but no matter whether you want put in £50, £500 or £5,000 OR £5M THE IMPORTANT THING IS WE GET AWAY FROM THIS DANGEROUS BUSINESS OF ONE MAN CALLING ALL THE SHOTS. I REALLY don't want Whyte and Ellis to take over - every fibre of my being tells me they're out to line their pockets and leave Rangers in even a bigger mess than the egotist David Murray has! If they get the club, for me it'll be over, - i just know what is round the corner and it aint what i want for my club, and i don't want a part in any of this putting our faith in one (or two) men! NO THANKS TO THAT!
  10. Credit where credit is due. Well done Alister Johnston and the Rangers board for spotting the speculators - to think sooooo many Rangers fans wanted this deal rushed through...
  11. Must say although I’ll be glad to see the back of him, I’m none too excited by Whyte and (especially) Ellis – for me this just looks like more of the same, or even worse!!! Murray did more than a few things right for us, but his wrongs far outweighed them. Where he mostly went wrong was by not giving a toss for Rangers fans! I doubt very much if he ever did care for us, we were always merely a source of revenue for him and that’s where the real shame lies. He could’ve still made a profit – SO MUCH more – by standing up for Rangers FC and us the fans and enhancing our ‘brand’. He could’ve walked away with people thinking so much more of him… immortality in what he did for this great institution, but all that’ll happen now is that we’ll look back at him with real anger. You could list all the wrongdoings: 1. Allowing Rangers fans to be demonised. 2. Allowing our enemies to put themselves forward as the ‘victims’ and put upon. 3. Spending too much of the clubs (our) money, and by doing that turning Rangers F.C. into an ‘easy mark’ for Agents. 4. By not defending our fans (and therefor our club) Eufa have an easy time using our club as ‘examples’ when there are far more obvious targets out there! 5. Allowing the media the scope to attack Rangers fans and our club without any fear of a reaction. 6. I could go on and on, but the upshot is that attacking Rangers FC is now just seen as a stepping stone for journalists/broadcasters/politicians, football officials and any half-wit in public life! They jump on the moral high-ground when they really belong under rocks! Slagging off Rangers is seen as a good career move whereas supporting us tends to end careers before they begin. Now, I know I’m a Marxist but to be honest I’ve always put Rangers ahead of Politics and even if a rich Capitalist took over and even walked away with a big profit I wouldn’t really have bothered too much providing he left us in a better position than when he came in – would that have been so hard? Definitely NO! When you think of what he could’ve achieved that is the real shame. No doubt Murray won’t be bothered by his legacy – to my mind not many rich Capitalists do, but leaving this planet with plenty of money… is that such a great achievement in itself? Personally, I always look at the man Jack Walker who bought Blackburn Rovers. Now, he probably knew he wouldn’t make money (that he actually would lose it) but it didn’t stop him because he cared for Blackburn Rovers, no doubt the Rovers fans hold him in great esteem – now, think of the world-wide fan-base of Rangers F.C. Mr Murray… a chance of immortality and you blew it by just caring about money alone! We’ll struggle to overcome the mess he’s left, but we will and hopefully our fans will be all the wiser for the experience (I’m very doubtful on that as we seem to want to rush into the arms of more Capitalists/Speculators in the ‘hope’ of things getting better) and sometime in the future we’ll assume our place at the top of the tree in Scottish football and Scottish society. Someday! Hopefully the damage he’s done will not be terminal.
  12. Got a good Scanner that I haven't used in ages (great condition) and the new Laptop i bought wont accept the Drivers CD's and I've been looking online for these free downloads that the shops talk of - trouble is every link i click seems to point me in the direction getting the Driver BUT paying for it... My Scanner is a CanoScan N 650U - anyone got a clear link to were I can click and download the thing? Very frustrating... Can anyone help?
  13. ffs! I listen to Five Live all the time - never liked her (fekking cynical laugh of hers) so, I'd kinda guessed she was one of them! Won't be able to listen anymore - bugger!
  14. It just happens they're looking at Rangers is that what they're saying? So, who determines which club they 'just look at'? As for not issuing any further statements they're playing with only a couple of brain cells if they think that's gonna fly! Rangers (dozzy cunt Bain) need to demand answers the first one being what made them look into Rangers and not other clubs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. According to my Pop (a Clyde fan) there was plenty Glaswegians with Celtic leanings that buggered off across to the Republic for the duration of WW2 - apparently their stories of where they were didn't tally!
  16. In another move, the SFA could be set to replace the Disciplinary Committee with a compliance officer whose job will be to flag up incidents within 48 hours of them happening and implement new procedures to avoid repeats of this season’s emabarassments. The appointment could be rubber stamped at the SFA AGM in June. Looks like they're gonna give themselves more leeway to get at Rangers in future! This job to 'flag up' will no doubt be aided and abetted by the likes of Spiers and Co. As I said before why is it assumed the SFA done us a favour when even if they'd've banned him for 2-3 games it would've mattered not a job because he won't be fit for Saturday, prob won't even be fit for the Celtic game which is probably all they wanted in the first place!
  17. There's lots of employees that aren't paid in the open! In McBrides case they'll sit back and watch the damage he can do (or take - not a chance the SFA will do SFA except issuing 'statements' on intent) then some time in the future McBride will find himself being 'fully' paid for his services...
  18. Don't really see your point - sorry. Surely the only thing that RFC can be accountable is that they're doing everything they can to stop it - if they've done that then why are they culpable? Also, Celtic (or their manager) have actually hired this Solicitor therefore IF they don't distance themselves from him then they are culpable!! On the buses - if I board the number 9 to Drumchapel after a game and 1 or 2 fans use racist language would the WHOLE BUS be culpable if they couldn't separate the 1 or 2 from the rest? You can, quite rightly, say we as a fanbase have the responsibility to deal with the racists but in legal terms (and i'm sure the highest legal minds have been over this with the Holocaust) is EVERYONE responsible? Legally, I'm sure the answer is NO...
  19. ...how are the SFA doing us a favour when he prob won't be fit for Saturday? The SFA have run scared of, and bent over backwards for Celtic for ages now and to my mind used this Bougherra verdict to make it APPEAR they're unbias! As for Ally and Diouf don't think anyone could argue with either - truth is (as i said before) we should've been DEMANDING to know why Ally was charged in the first place!!!
  20. Think it maybe beyond that now and our actions need to be more 'severe'... We're sitting ducks because the heirarchy at the club have over the yrs refused to defend the good name of the fans - it was obvious to us all yrs and yrs ago that IN TIME the actions of our haters would get more and more daring and we DID tell Murray and the club that it would come home to roost in the coffers at Ibrox. Slowly but surely that's happened... it may have started off with fans (especially the young and peace loving ones) not wanting to be associated with Rangers and therefore RFC losing income in shirts etc etc but it's gotten us to this point. Geo, I'll tell you why your way wont work - it's all down to Politics, so for all those that don't like Socialist / Communist rhetoric look away now! What we have in Britain is an Economy in the dulldrums and the people that run the system (the Capitalists) are fully aware they may have to fight the Working Class some time soon, to retain their power. Now, as Trotsky put it "Fascism is an option for the ruling class", but 'Political Correctness' is too and it's become clear as the way to 'divide and rule' the masses, the 'establishment' need some fall guys... What i'm saying is the inaction from the club has pushed Rangers fans to the fore, and from the persistant attacks they look as if they've made up their minds to use the divisions (that the Education system helped provide) that exist to offer up fall guys... In other words Society will be alright 'if only' we can rid it of all the bad things. Years of not addressing the issue has brought us to the point were WE are the fall guys. Answer... I don't really know tbh but although what you're suggesting will be helpful I'd say that we really need to seek help from the legal system and that means THE CLUB needS to act! There lies oru problem mate! One other thing, in the eyes of a lot of people they think if Rangers go down the pan we'll all go away and support the likes of Partick Thistle, Clyde etc - for me though if Rangers go down then football will mean absolutely NOTHING! WE HAVE TO ADDRESS THE POLITICAL ISSUES - AND THAT FOR ME INVOLVES PUTTING SEVERE PRESSURE ON RANGERS FC.
  21. or Lennon not responsible for their / his solicitor McBride? SURELY RFC SHOULDN'T BE AND CELTIC / LENNON SHOULD!
  22. April 10, 20112010/2011 Scottish Premier League Table Overall Home Away POS TEAM P W D L F A W D L F A W D L F A GD Pts 1 Celtic 30 23 4 3 65 18 13 3 1 43 10 10 1 2 22 8 47 73 2 Rangers 30 23 2 5 65 27 11 1 3 35 13 12 1 2 30 14 38 71 As has been said if we take care of our own we'll be Champions again! If we beat Aberdeen they'll start becoming less arrogant!
  23. If we can get the 3 pts up in Aberdeen then I may just start to believe it myself! Trouble is you know they'll be up for it and the way we've been playing...
  24. Rangers have 4 home games and 4 away games. Celtic have 2 home games and 6 away games. The way we're playing at the moment it might not make much difference but with them having to play at least one team away for a third time then that must be Motherwell. 'If' we can win up in Aberdeen, the game against St Mirren at Ibrox can be a real rallying point for us!
