I hope not, only saw the tail end of the first half but all of the second, and until Jelavic come on it looked as if we had hee haw for target men. The only danger I saw to their defense was Davis and Whitty, no structure whatsoever. Never thought I'd say it but I'm starting to warm to Lafferty, no way he's score a bundle though (the commentator on Gers TV " Defenders have a hard time defending against Lafferty because most of the time he doesn't know himself what he's going to do next" ). A more organized team could have sorely punished us today and if we let this window pass us by it's going to be a long second half. What I don't get is why a guy like Whyte would allow himself to be used in a story like this if it was complete pish, some say it's free publicity, but rather than good publicity doesn't it make him look more like an eejit ? Exactly...... we are dying to vent our frustrations at someone, but we don't even know who the real culprits are ( or even if there are any). The first group I would be demanding anything from is those in the know at our club that are telling us hee haw. If we could find out some true facts about who (if anybody),is holding us to ransom, then we could target them without making an arse of ourselves. Mr Bain and co. should be reminded who TRULY keeps them in their lavish lifestyles, and treat them with the respect they deserve.... ANSWERS NOW PLEASE.

I'm ragin too, no matter what people's personal feelings are towards Boyd and Miller, and even if we get a million for the latter, to lose the 2 top strikers in the SPL (by far)in the space of 6 months, and for that kind of buttons is a fuckin scandal. Even the diddys are making an attempt to get top dollar for their "stars" (Broon says "we're gonny need big money for Foster" FFS), but when it comes to us its like "we'll take them off yer hands and mibbee even slip ye a coupla bob". I know there's hee haw we can do about it but for me that makes it even harder to swallow. If we do sign Goodwillie, he's going to be under pressure from the git go, because I don't think anyone can deny that (as far as goalscorers go) him and Jelavic have some big boots to fill..... hope they're up to it. I remember back in the 60s ma da dragging me round to the front gates to join the other mass of pissed off bears baying for blood when things were going down the toilet. I have seen some posters suggesting not renewing STs, to me that would be a disaster, but would the threat of it help? same goes for drawing monies out of the bank. Does it always have to be done with fancy banners and internet petitions now or would a good old, spur of the moment, TELL US WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON protest at the front door, where they can see the anger and frustration on our faces, get more results ? (it costs nothing but a little time). The one thing we have always had going for us as a support is our massive numbers and our loyalty, and I just think there must be some way these can be used as a bargaining chip when needed. Could this possibly be what Walter was hinting at this week ? (I know he denounced it the last time, so why the change of heart ?) Feelingimpotentloyal.

Then does anyone have any ideas of how we fans will be able to help if it becomes much worse ? I saw a suggestion of collection buckets, but I don't think any donation type scheme by fans would be viable while the majority of us are kept in the dark about where the money coming in is actually going. This is where I think our club are letting us and themselves down, they seem to take our loyalty as a given (which it generally is), but the day might come when they have to ask us to dig deep (again Dundee style, but on a much larger scale), but to do this I feel it would have to be after a long period of complete transparency and honesty (as much as is allowed anyway), so maybe they should start thinking about it now. Walter etc throw out statements but don't seem to give out much in the way of figures (if they know any). Hopefully a new sheriff will ride into town and it will never get to that stage
