  1. Dressing room must be toxic with him hanging around at a time when we could do with him on the park. Regardless of your opinion of him he is the best number 10 at the club even on a bad day he's better than Lawrence.
  2. His performance was so bad that if it was a training session you would stop and ask him to pay attention. Absolute empty shirt today, a player at a cross roads in their career. He has enough talent to be a real standout player in our league but his application his found wanting far to often. If he is getting found out up here where does he think his next move will be.
  3. He has been poor before but today was a new level. Caught in possession almost every time he had the ball and allowed McGregor to boss him around. Not doubting his commitment but unfortunately I think his biggest issue is that he plays for himself and not the team.
  4. His substitution for me was more out of annoyance by the manager and a statement to Cantwell that he has to follow orders to help the team. But if it's about helping the team and not based on personality differences. It's hard to argue that leaving Lammers on the pitch is in favour of helping the team. McCausland coming on 100% everyone will agree with, but if it's about helping the team Lammers had to come off and Cantwell moved more central. The lack of discipline in following orders could be dealt with after the game, but surely the end game is to have your best players on the field.
  5. Clement post match interview, says he took him off because he was cutting inside to often. Yet that's exactly how he scored against Sparta, cutting inside onto his left foot. Just hope an ego measuring exercise is not the basis for weakening the team. It's an absolute no brainer that Cantwell in place of Lammers is best for the team yet game after game we seeing Lammers start games and contribute nothing.
  6. Think he is a player that's feeling very sorry for himself and possibly because he wants that number 10 position. Last season we saw the best of him when Tillman dropped out injured. That's when he started to score goals and impact games from a more central position.
  7. Our one proper footballer. He's in his first full season as a first team player and will make mistakes and at times fall out of games. But so did Aribo and he came from first team action in the Championship and was still disappearing at times last season. In the long run the money will be well spent and he will produce more often than not.
  8. Thought he had a decent game. Looked even better when Wright came and contributed zero. Keep seeing comparisons with Aribo that are a bit unfair. Aribo came to us with 100 odd games under his belt 80 of them with Charlton in the Championship. Tillman came with less than 10. Aribo went missing a fair few times for us every season even by his own admission last season after the African cup. Expectations on Tillman are unrealistic.
  9. Bittersweet moment, its great that we are getting decent money for him and at long last we have a graduate of the academy who has signed a contract long enough to command the fee mentioned. Also disappointed that we won't see the best of him wearing a Rangers jersey. He is a player that is going to get better and better. All the best to him.
  10. He has well and truly joined the managerial merry go round l. After 11 EPL games, Spurs, Newcastle,Villa & Norwich have sacked managers. He may go on to be a success or he may join the ranks of mangers who last a season or so and then move onto the next job. One thing for sure he won't get the couple of seasons to get it right that we gave him.
  11. Quicker the announcement is made the better. Time to move on and look at who comes into replace him.
  12. Think Tav online is hilarious and sums up football and that it moves very very quickly, couple of weeks ago hes saying "dont ask me silly questions" fast forward and hes jumping on train to apparently talk to Villa. If he goes and new man is in place quickly, next interview with Tav will be all about impressing the new gaffer and thats pretty much what all the players will be thinking or saying. Fact is its not a rebuilding job, we already have the best squad in the league and if Gerrard leaves its up to the board to make sure the next appointment can make the best use of the players we have in terms playing styles and attributes.
  13. If he goes to Villa the reported clause activation of 3 million is a major disappointment if true. Hopefully he stays until the end of the season at least. If not I would like to see David Wagner offered the job, ex Huddersfield and Shalke currently manager at Young Boys in the Swiss league.
  14. Good luck to him, I would like to think that when his time comes to go out on loan to get some experience that a return to us would be on the cards.
