at 39 he was putting up with very fast players in the CL and if he thought he couldnt put up with it he would have retired ? also if smith thought he wasnt fast enough or was sitting to deep he would have pulled him for that.

i dont see how you can say he is slowing down He has played brilliant throughtout pre season and last week . i think davie weir is ssolid and i agree with Amac9 110% Andy webster is an injusry prone mess

IMO i think that we have the best attacking display in the SPL just depending on what formation we play

the only thing wee need is beattie t get back to his match fitnss and we will have covered for them losses very well

Jelavic - a real goal scorer willing to score as many as possible. Weiss - Really fast, good close control with the ball, Top noch finishing. Beattie - Strong, Can also finsh a ball and yet more to see from him. All of theese new signings have alot in commin. :jelavic: :weiss: :beattie: !
