Yes please - I do not see the problem in either but your tradition rant says to me that Ibrox should never be without the UF traditionally flying, but now you seem to be trying to look for a way to accept it not flying on Rugby days! I am deciding it is time for bed but please feel free to expand on your disgust at the UF not flying today but your happiness that it was missing during the Commonwealth Games. It will make absolutely great reading and might just save you from the 'offended for the sake of being offended' tag.
