I don't see what is confusing everyone. Rangers were asked to draw up a business plan by the bank and within that plan, would have been the required transfer kitty for the SEASON - this plan was accepted by Lloyds bank, with all other money coming in, paying off debts. Now, just because the club earned a decent wage from the Champions League, the fans expect more money for transfers - well it don't work like that in the real world. Walter has had his kitty, as agreed with the bank, and he has blew it. He was absolutely mad to buy a player for £4.5M when he knew that was the majority of his budget. Even if the guy stayed fit all season, he was never a proven goalscorer, so it was a gamble. We have a debt to the bank and the bank want it paid - simple. One thing to remember - if the bank feel that Rangers are not honouring their business plan, they could take us into administration and then where would we be? I respect your desire for harmony at Ibrox but that is not going to happen until Rangers FC is bought by a new owner or the debts are paid in full.
