  1. I'd rather keep him on for a year than let him go, tbh. Loan him back to Livingstone until Jan, see how he does in the top flight in a team that he's familiar with, and then make a decision.

He's not even played 90 minutes total for us in the last 3 years combined. We can't know how good he is if he's never really been given a chance, ffs. Just look at Harry Kane at Spurs.

Should never become more than a player we bring on in the last 30 minutes against a side sitting in deep.

If we had anyone better, I'd agree. Hopefully we can either bring in somebody else to fix that, or Pena could look the business. He's by far the best attacking midfielder we have at the moment though, and Kranjcar for 60 minutes is better than Windass for 90.

  3. Cardoso - 7, Looks a player, excited to see him with Bruno

Jack - 7, Strolled the game, looked comfortable

Miller - 7, Scored the goal, but didn't do much else

Kranjcar - 8, Quick thinking for the goal, but was blowing out his arse pretty early on

Dalcio - 5, Put in maybe 1 or 2 decent crosses, will run into fullbacks for fun

    Waghorn - 3, Played shite

Everybody else was just sort of... there. Don't think anyone else did anything of interest.

Pull back on Windass when he was through towards goal. Last man challenge. Didn't really look a clear cut goal scoring opportunity so I thought it could have gone either way. Wasn't much arguing about it though to be fair.

He'd have been one-on-one with the keeper if he wasn't pulled down, I'd say that's a red card all day.

Although, to be honest, I doubt he'd have scored.

I have slagged off Bates in several match threads for looking shaky, and a liability.

Today he has done really well and stepped up a notch.

Might have been nerves. He's a big lump of a lad, and was constantly getting bullied by opposition strikers. If he gets a bit of a nasty streak, I reckon there'll be a player there.
