I'd play him as our DM until Rossiter is fit, unless Crooks steps up his game. He looked decent there today, but against better teams like Hearts and Celtic I'm not so sure.

The big man has an average of 90 minutes per goal for us so far in domestic competition. Not to say that would keep up, but give the guy a chance as a starter.

Grab Alex Jones from Birmingham. They've stated they want to sell, and he's clinical as fuck. On loan at Port Vale until January, has 9 goals in 12 games, with 16 of his 19 shots on target.

Just looking at the players in the top scorers list has me buzzing. Just over the top 3 positions we could play McKay, Forrester, Waghorn, Miller, O'Halloran, Dodoo or Windass, and that's not even considering the likes of Holt, Barton and Kranjcar contributing from midfield, or even Hardie and Burt who could both come in and do a job. I'm looking forward to seeing which of them will find their run of form first!
