Fairly sure reporting has been that he agreed to fit within our wage structure, which suggests his original wage demands were high and that he will end up being one of our highest earners. Comparatively that’s a massive wage for our club.

Whether we rate Coady or not, we shouldn't be spending that kind of cash on a CB when there are other areas of the pitch where we need to spend quite significantly.

Could be tbf, but seen nothing from Matondo to justify that and plenty from Lowry to justify him getting minutes (in games of course don’t know about training)

Yeah Hagi played there in the same ‘system’ we’ve played with Matondo.

Except for away at Hibs, but even if your statement were completely true it doesn’t change the fact that Lowry has shown 10x more than Matondo and this was the right time to see what he has to offer.

Completely change our system - hardly mate. Hagi has started instead of Matondo recently in the same way Lowry could have and we play more than one system.
