I think you will find he stated the captaincy was not as important as people think in Scotland. If you were captain of Rangers(the team you love) how would you take this? PLG appointed Gavin Rae as captain take it he was better than Ferguson then.

Well what happened before he lost the dressing room? Think you will find PLG undermined Ferguson first, he stated in an interview that a captain was not important. A good manager would have realised this statement was going to offend his captain & other's imo. I'm glad it happened when it did with Ferguson, got rid of PLG before he could do any more damage.

If you don't want to stand then do as others have said, try & get a seat at the front. I remember my first old firm game at Ibrox was 1998 sitting in the east enclosure we drew 0-0, was still one of the best games I’ve been too. We stood for the full game was only 10 at the time as well. Can't even stand up to take yir phone out your pocket now or you get moaned at. I'm all for respecting the older guys who made our support but young people are the future, if they get moaned it they won't come simple as that. We need to pick the atmosphere up to what it used to be like.

I don't think it can be excused that's what cost him his job, he admitted he had not watched much Scottish football. Don't think he understood or looked at the culture in our football, he came in & made major changes which right or wrong were too big for some players. Ferguson was not a perfect captain but who is? His attitude couldn’t have been too bad he didn’t have any problems under Advocaat who was known to be very strict when it came to players. I think we could be doing with someone who has Ferguson’s leadership in our side just now.

His man management was poor IMO if you remember right he says something like captains aren't as important as fans think & Ferguson knows my view on this. Don’t think saying that in the media is going to get the club captain or squad behind you.

To be honest when you look at Le Guens record it's not that great for how highly he was rated as a manager. The only success he had was at Lyon were he inherited a title winning team in France, & it was a poor French league at the time. I got excited when he first came but the guy underestimated our league big time with bad tactics & dodgy signings. Maybe the players seen this & that’s why he didn’t get the support whether that is right or wrong is another story. But for such a good manager he has failed every where he has went except Lyon. Don’t think he can handle being a manager Imo, every time something goes wrong he heads out the game for a year to recover.
