    He knew....now he doesn't.

A bastard of a disease but I won't be joining in with the faux-grief that is being shown on social media.

    A hate-filled bastard of a man.

I like the way you signed off at the end of your post.

Religion is to blame. Most Protestants I've known in my life only identify with it, none practice. Most people I know are now secular and only descended from Protestants.

The problem we (Rangers fans) have is that the tie that binds seems to be a negative one, not being Catholic or hating Celtic. When it should be a positive value of strong work ethic, respect and loyalty.

The greatest threat to the Catholic church is not Protestantism, that battle was lost decades ago, it is of enlightened secularism.

Brilliant post, mate. Absolutely nailed it.

To answer the question though. I don't think our next generation of fans are diluting at all. My boy hates them.

I actually wore a tarrier strip for a match last year that was for a charity that he directly benefits from and he still wouldn't speak to me for a full day after wearing it.

    He's 7.

  4. I expect this is a shite rumour started by a non-Rangers fan to get his three pages of shite Malky Mackay-style jokes, so I won't bother reading.

Just remember that Bruce Lee would punch all of your fat saggy melts in from one-inch away and then perhaps teach you to go and do something meaningful with your sad existences.

The second part is dubious with the amount of brain-dead on here, right enough. I am not sure any amount of sage teaching can help some of you. After all, I have been trying for a while now.

DJ is younger than Graeme Souness.

Another piece of trivia is that DJ was the first player Souness 'released' when he came in at Rangers.

Probably safe to say it was because there was no chance of him ever being fit enough for Souness' standards.

Although at the time when Souness was 33, he was still infinitely fitter than guys ten years his junior like McCoist, Fleck, McMinn, Durrant and Derek Ferguson.

  6. I thought Albertz was signed that year too. Must have been during the season as I have this horrific vision of Albertz at left-back, Gattuso at right-back and Porrini at centre-back.

Stensaas was shite, Niemi was a great keeper, Thern oozed class but had to retire, Amoruso spent the season injured and we all know what happened with Negri.

Never been a big tit kind of man .Usually shite lovers.

But it would make a change for the 2 big tits that are running our club

Sorry, you will need to wait until Andy Cameron retires before a vacancy becomes available in our Really Shite Comedy Dept.

We will store your details in the fucking bin on file.

    Thanks.

This picture sums him up, really.

Sure does, bud. Even Morton was too much for him by that stage, as the drink and the cheg took hold. No amount of Vicks Vapo-Rub on the shirt will help when you are blowing out of your arse after 30 mins due to a heavy night-before.

A far cry from when he scored in both games against the Mighty Islanders in the Euro 2008 qualifiers.*

(*To be fair, that campaign was really the only time that we ever found it easy against you guys.)

  9. A serious, serious waste of talent. Could have had a long and prosperous career in England easily, á la Big Dunc.

16 caps and 4 goals for Scotland while not even giving a fuck. Walter Smith and Alex McLeish gave him every chance during the Euro 2008 campaign.

He was part of the team that beat France 1-0 at Hampden but was dropped right after that by Walter after going AWOL for the next game. Big Eck recalled him and gave him a second, or rather third, chance - only for him to fuck it up again. Burley recalled him two years later for a crunch game against the Netherlands.

O'Connor was eventually told to get tae by Levein, funnily enough... And he was never seen at that level again.
