Frustrating start to my 3rd season. Good side: Smashed my way in to the Champions league thrashing FC Inter of Finland and Molde Bad side: 4th seeds this year and got Barca (again) Man City (English champions) and Sporting. In the league already drawn twice at home with St Mirren and Inverness and even got pumped by Hibs who are top. Bright side is I beat Celtic 4 0 away (Daniel Sturridge debut brace ) and kept them below me. Currently: Hibs Aberdeen Me Tims Need to start winning every game in the league before the nasty away games

Carlos Fierro is a good shout to but sadly by the time I heard about him so had many others and the bigger clubs were all over him. Djuric had a poor season for me but he has some pretty good stats so it may have been my fault

Not sure if you seen my earlier posts but seriously I'd check out Alberto Bueno, I got him for 650k and he scored 52 goals in his first season. I'm now about 6-7 games into my current season and he has scored 3 hatricks and atleast one in almost every other game. Should also add he beat Ronaldo, Messi and Cavani to the European golden boot

Allan has found it tough on mine, his contract ran at Dundee United and I was close to signing him but backed out. He went to Luton and had a horrible time and they wanted rid of him and now he is sitting at Aberdeen on the bench.

Aye I admit I sort of bought him without properly checking him out just because everyone was raving on about him. I had planned to let him sit in the reserves or under 19s but on closer inspection I have got to work on him straight away and not let him just rot away in the reserves.

I played him in most games until he missed a few months through injury and when he recovered, he never really got back to his usual form. Struggling to get any right midfielders so think Templeman will have to stay there, shame as I have 8 million to spend but no idea who on

This is basically how my team looks now, the subs aren't organised as it was just a friendly so I just selected everyone without any real organisation. Still got money to spend like I say. I'm thinking maybe I should move Templeton back to his preferred left side and look for a new right winger. I have a fair few strikers but only Bueno really scores often, don't wanna upset everyone though by having too many that play the one position

Crisetig was the player I got in as backup! I let Ness and Bedoya go, got 2.5 million for them (2 million for Bedoya) Sold Andile Jali for 5 million (bought him for like 250k and thought he was quite poor even though the fans loved him) Replaced him with Alexandru Bourceanu, never heard of him but got him for just over 1 million and scouts are very impressed. Got Cuellar in for free as he fell out with the new managment at Villa. Let Alexander go and replaced him with Biel Ribas from Valencia for 800k Finally offloaded a striker the Greek Amanatidis as his form was shocking and contract running out so glad to get half a million for him. Brought young Gonzalo Martinez in hoping to develop into a key player and was free and seen as a coup for the club so hopefully discovered a hidden gem. Got jake Livermore in as a squad player for a million and released some players that I couldn't get a new contract to or didn't need, including Lafferty and McKay. That's my summer so far, currently got alot of money but don't know what to splash it on, any suggestions? I have alot of cover in all departments but could easily sell someone to bring in better. Hopefully my form stays as good as it has been the last couple seasons, with a different looking team

Anyone recommend a good central midfield that doesn't demand a huge wage? I have a fair bit to spend and lost a couple of my backup midfielders so could use bringing someone in but so many are on 20k+ a week

Been to a few Arbroath games since promotion and I to would much prefer a fairly strong team. Sitting joint top of division 2 and most performances have been above that standard, since winning the league they look like a new team. I do think a team mainly consisting of fringe players will do the job fine but Arbroath are so unpredictable right now.

Aye since posting he somehow got even better, won player of the month scoring 10 in 4 and is now sitting on 51 goals for the season with a few more yet! I'll post at the end to say if he keeps up the form to the last game. (Celtic away in the league and then Motherwell in the cup final) Tricky end to the season with them just one point below me

Yesssss! The bears are coming back to Arbroath. I'll probably end up stuck in the home end again but ah well, 2 minute walk from my house and a great piss up that day

Would love us to get Arbroath, either here or at Ibrox would be great and it's been a while now!
