I agree completely. I am not saying he isn't worthy of abuse when it is warranted, I am saying that taking the piss out of the fact he is an alcoholic is not on considering some of these same people sympathise with Gazza's issues.

Just replied there. I've seen quite a few, from established posters as well. Gazza the alcoholic suggests he can play for Rangers at the age of 45. He gets sympathy. Bomber the alcoholic suggests that Green is up to something and wants to head a consortium to buy Rangers, he gets vilified. Yes Bomber has gone about this completely the wrong way, but when people make references to him being an alcoholic and joke about it, I personally think that is overstepping the mark somewhat.

Bomber gets a hard time, and then posts reference his alcohol problem that he has. How you haven't noticed any posts saying shit like "aye, he's only doing this to sort out his next bottle" or stuff like that is beyond me. Go have a look, threads about him are rife with comments such as these.

You can't be reading the same threads as I have been then, Bomber has been getting the pish ripped out of him, I have seen a lot of posts making reference to his alcoholism and more or less mocking it. Yet Gazza gets the sympathy vote.

It is a shame seeing Gazza exploited in this manner, he obviously has a lot of problems caused by his alcohol abuse. What pisses me off though is that Bomber, who evidently is also an alcoholic, gets dogs abuse on here and told to go crack open another can of super T, where Gazza gets sympathy. That's fucking appalling double standards in my eyes.

Obviously there must be rumblings that those teams in the SFL and more specifically those in the 1st will not accept Rangers to go straight into that league, and nor should we be allowed to either. Teams in the SPL are getting awfully worried knowing this, I still think there is a chance that we will get into the SPL with no sanctions. CG must realise now though that with our main players traitors having left us, a transfer embargo cannot be enforced upon us.

The Sfa made up the transfer embargo as a punishment, as they are more than aware that Scottish football would suffer immensely if there were no Rangers in it. They are desperately wanting us to accept this to get them out of a sticky situation. The other option will be banished from the SC, I think they will roll with that.
