i hope everyone knows the formation is merely a resetting shape when we are under attack or static? formation makes no real impact - especially when we have more than one striker on. it's what the players jobs are in the formation that is important i think it will generally be 5-4-1 turning into a 3-5-2 in attack

have to remember, we kinda dont know what it's like to have a creative midfield that doesn't always build from the center which then puts strikers in or passes out to strikers/defenders in winging roles. i think we will be able to stretch the game more with real wingers - they will not only create better on the wing, but they will free up what was always a conjested midfield with davis struggling on his own to be creative with hardly any help around him.

i dont think we need another attacking cm, davis is good enough and edu can fill in. the prob we've had is zero real wingers for many years now. once we get that - which it looks like mccoist is doing - we will be laughing. seriously, i hated when we let go of burke, it was senseless.
