  1. I personally do not see an issue by having 32Red as our Sponsor for Three Seasons.

If anything i am amazed that the club has managed to secure a sponsor given all the off-field issues surrounding the club and i personally thought they would of just placed the one year extension on the Blackthorn deal, But i am pleased that the deal has been announced early.

32Red is of course a bigger attraction in terms of name value over Blackthorn - Due to the past deals 32Red has secured with Aston Villa/Swansea etc.

  2. I personally am pleased by most of the reading in the results, hopefully the board will act on some of the things within fans questionnaires as they move forward.

Hopefully the club can act on a Membership Scheme quickly.... no doubt certain people will attempt to de-rail this imitative...

  3. I think this would be a great move by the club.. You are right thought what happened to the screen which was meant to be fitted outside IBROX according to the EloneX website.

But i am under the impression EloneX provides the screens and then the company pays EloneX to advertise a company on the screens. - Due to EloneX has Artwork specification page for the EloneX owned screens etc at IBROX.

    See Here:- http://oneoutdoormedia.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Rangers_Spec-Sheet.pdf

I am not against Stadium renaming, if a large portion of the money is used for improving the stadium. Did the club not get a small grant from the Glasgow Council due to them hosting an event at the Commonwealth Games:Glasgow?

  4. Will be interesting to see what Puma will do for our next season Strips etc, Especially given the fact that Puma has secured the contract to supply Arsenal

I would of expected that conversations between Rangers & Puma would have already taken place in regards to the next season designs etc

I actually really like the overall look of the strips, but the quality of the material is definitely questionable. I have had no issues with the Sponsors peeling off the top as of yet!

  5. I fully imagine Puma & Rangers will have already had discussions about this problem - which has happened to quite a few people by the looks of it.

But i am beginning to think that the Blackthorn sponsorship might be nearing the end.

  6. I am sure Blackthorn/C&C Group have an option to extend the deal by another year.

But i personally would like us to move away from these joint deals with them across the city...

Maybe we can go after a Sponsor which is known Globally with Wallace at the helm, Maybe we can hopefully move away from having an Alcoholic Beverage as our Sponsor.

  7. Bringing in a commercial partner (brewery/restaurant chain could be used to part finance the development. I wonder if the Ibrox Bar is a tester to see how popular this sort of venture may be? Moving offices over there could also free up more space in the stadium for hospitality and moving the Megastore frees space for the ticket office and may open development opportunities for areas surrounding the stadium (I wonder whats happened to the G51 idea?)

These are, of course, long term strategies but this would fit with GWs vision of a 5 year plan for the club. Getting Edmiston House at the price paid may be the one thing that will pay off in the long term.

Is the Ibrox Bar actually a joint venture between Blackthorn/C&C Group & Rangers

I do wonder if the Club sees the above venture is actually popular - I have never been into the Ibrox Bar, But i could imagine it being busy during matchdays/much like the small Megastore.

Would be interesting to hear Wallace's stance on these plans now?

  8. Cash flow is probably the issue. Could do it up and get it to start producing revenue. MIght cost us a couple of million to do so though.

That couple of million is probably needed to keep the lights on.

Yeah you are more than likely right... Just find it to be strange having it going to waste. But you are right. it would cost quite a lot to get it into an actual functional area.

  9. The profit from the carpark and a refurbished Edmiston House could help pay for a scouting network. If our previous CEO's had not sanctioned mad wages and huge playing squads we could have had Ed House up and running and implemented a proper scouting network. However who would select the people to run the scouting, McCoist? We would be back to Neil Murray in an instant. Anybody know what he does these days?

For Edmiston House, there is half a million quid sitting in the RFFF which maybe could be used to help finance the refurbishment.

Did Jim Hannah - not showcase rough plans for Edmiston House ages ago via his Facebook page or something.

Which if i remember had Ground Floor- Mega-Store/ 1st Floor- Musuem 3rd Floor Offices - Not sure why they need more offices though ?

Did he not mention at that time that he was proposing some of the RFF money be used for it?

  10. The car park is generating cash. Edmiston House will be a great investment if its refurbished properly and will generate a lot of money.

You are right, but i guess Edmiston House will not be refurbished for sometime now - Unless the Club can work with a Club Partner to re-develop it...

But we have personally never heard of actual plans for it, but the club mentions often that they now own it - Makes no sense it just sitting empty.

  11. If Wallace can sort all our off-field problems and hopefully he does not impact too much on the playing side.

He will no doubt go down as a Legend in the eye's of Rangers Fans. (in my view)

Still not sure why he went to the Scotsman & the Daily Record a week or two ago.

These are the kind of things our own club channels should be doing...

(But saying that Rangers.TV could be doing a lot more to try and attract more subs to the channel. - (But we currently do not have a Head of Communications/Media which could be a reason!)

But i guess he was trying to get to these people before they wrote their own opinions on things..

We finally know why Nash was brought into the Club for the short-term... (Makes sense having an outsider look at things, who has a full understanding how a football structure works.)
