  1. What do we mean by 'ditch'?

I gave up my season ticket for various reasons between 2008-2011, but could never imagine not supporting Rangers. I don't think my commitment to the club could really be questioned, just because I didn't go to every game in that period (especially since we won 3 titles when I wasn't a season ticket holder).

To me, supporting Rangers isn't something I could ever switch off. Sure, my visits to Ibrox could become more infrequent, but I'd still be a fan. My intention is to purchase a season-ticket again (didn't actually get a renewal form like some of my mates did), but it all comes down to finances.

    im with this man (tu)

ive not been to ibrox often over the last few yrs.

however i will make extra effort to start going reguarly again, even better if its in the 3rd division.

  2. Do you honestly think Browns group would not do the same if it made the club more £?

Do you think any businessman worth his socks is going to accept a deal which is going to reduce income and sponsorship to the club? I find this really hard to believe tbh.

Green will absolutely take this deal if it means the club is worth more and making more money, we as fans will not like it one bit but that is why fans of football clubs do not own these clubs.

i think browns group would do the exact same m8. doesnt mean i would like them for it either. infact i would want anyone who tkes such a deal out my club.

i also agree finacial wise it is probs the proper decision but the financial difference wont be that significant in my opinion.

all i know is i will not be happy if he accepts a deal like this.

  3. im not talking about away games. they should be boycotted even if they pay us to come back to the spl.

i meant(bad scenario) green accepts say 1yr transfer ban, 10 point deduction for the next 3 seasons and 3rd off all our tv/prize money for 3 yrs, just to get back in the spl.

should we still just blindly support the team? im raging just even thinking about this hypothetically.

  4. now im all for being in the spl with no sanctions(if offered, would prefer to start in the 3rd div). however if green accepts an spl positions with sanctions(whatever they are), what stance are wee(the fans) to take.

imo there is no way we should accept an spl deal unless its without sanctions, but it aint gonna be up to us(the fans).

so my question is, what shall we do if this situation arises?

  5. this article was posted on here earlier:

RANGERS' fate in Scottish football could be plunged into fresh chaos this week after it emerged the Scottish Football League have no idea how many votes it would take to get the newco into the First Division. MailSport understands all 30 SFL member clubs have been called to an 11am meeting at Hampden on Tuesday by chief executive David Longmuir. They'll be asked their views on the compromise document given to them last week that would see a newco Rangers parachuted into the second tier in exchange for play-off places, a £1m TV-based pay-off and a fairer split of income. However there will be NO vote – as no-one knows if it will take 50, 66 or 75 per cent of the clubs to pass a decision

if there will be no vote, does that mean we will be definitely playing div 1 football next season??

i dont know what it means, however i do know that the sfl dont vote on things like the spl do. the sfl has a 8 man board who make all decisions.(dont know whos on this board)

i dont know where all this voting pish came from as its not the way they work.

  6. I second that, i dont even want them to think for a minute what their "jacobite little highlander all things british hating" shite attitude will do to scottish football, whilst trying to please their hundreds of thousands season ticket holders by their most vehoment disgust of all things Rangers.

We have kept the SPL and Scottish football alive for the last 20 years, by not only supplying the best players to the "scottish" national team, but by our away support being the highest in number at every away ground in the country, a statement which was grudgingly acknowledged by the most bitter of all tims, Alan Brazil on TalkSport everyday last week.

I dont give a fuckin toss if we never win another trophy in our history, as long as i can walk out of the ground at Whitehill welfare whistling the sash.

Celtic have sat silent for the last 3 weeks, probably praying for a sympathetic move to england, the very country 99.999999% of their support despise, but will take the riches that it offers them.Fuckin dirty Fenian Bastards. The same way they now want Northern Ireland because most in the ROI are now on the verge of picking potatoes again. Bastards!

Please please please please Charles Green, apply to SFL3, if not there then the english conference, anything would be better than taking any crumb on our plates off of these hateful shortsighted cunts.

I want all these bastard chairmen of the SPL and SFA to have heart attacks, when they realize that a no vote to Rangers only means that IKEA will have more visitors on a Saturday afternoon than Tannadice for the Dundee derby, oh the quality that will be on that pitch eh? Youll be able to hear some cunt in the crowd shout to his mate that he wants a herbal tea, no that shitey bovril again.

Ive waited for years for Rangers to stick their fingers up at scottish football, mind you i thought we would move into a european league or England.Never mind

But here we have an opportunity to stand up for our support, and do something even more sizemic that will bring the cunts down who have slagged our support and our club for years, whilst still charging our away support upwards of £25 a ticket to dwell in their substandard surroundings for 90 mins every other week, whilst the other 3 of "the big five" in scotland only fill a small percentage of the palatial away end at Ibrox when they visit. Cunts!

I would gladly give Montrose a £50 admission fee on top of the £300 in petrol it costs me to follow the bears away every other week from The south East of England, just to see these cunts burn in the SPL.

The thought of 4000 bears turning up at Elgin City for a midweek 3rd division clash, filling the ground with song and atmosphere whilst pittodrie closes 3 ends of their ground against Kilmarnock because they cant afford the stewarding or Catering gives me a humungous hardon.

Come on Rangers! stick it right up the cunts!

    No Surrender

    Rab

    thats some pasionate stuff (tu)

    my favourite rant ever

  7. I think Green's playing the Ace here.

He may be backing them into a corner where they will have to "invite" us in.........................................or lose us.

And all the money that goes with us being the biggest and most successful club in the country.

i think your giving green more brins thn he has, im yet to see him make a significant or good move since he got control.

by the way im not aginst green, but it seems we aint moving forwards at all yet

  8. Don't know why they say Season Ticket Holders only, if you have a Rangers number you can put that in and your vote will be sent.

Let's face it, they're hardly going to say "Acht, Ray isn't a season ticket holder so we'll just not count his vote", are they?

how do you know who is an actual rangers fan if everyone can vote.

it would be flooded with fans of other clubs which just makes a mockery of doing the survey at all.

it is unfair on non st holders but i dont see any other way it could be done
