We need SPL/Div1 quality players. I think our current squad would win division 3 but we can't afford to change half the team every year.
imo we should not be signing anyone on more than 1-2k week. i believe that will probs get you div 1 quality as any spl player moving to rangers would likely want a decent wage to play in the lower leagues

when/if we get our sfa licence and are allowed to sign players how many do we need???
at the moment my opinion is we need atleast 10 in to make us have a big enough squad to compete properly.
if as i expect tht alexander, wallace, goian , edu , boca and maybe even kirk and bedoya also go that would take the number up to 17. with 2 weeks until start of season we are in an impossible situation.
question is how many do we need in? and how many will we get in?
my answers are 10+ we need in and i have no clue if or how many we will get.

i would hope we would recieve 50% of the money from any tv deal, if not we should refuse it and claim it will harm our attandances.
i am all for the sfl generating more money/interest for us being in there leagues but only if it is also good for our club.

If we get the same level of ST sales then we can afford a few players on higher end salaries, with the transfer embargo still hanging over us, we may have no option but to keep the guys on these wages as we cannot replace them if we accept the embargo
whether we can afford it or not, while we are in sfl 3,2,1 nonoe of our players should be on more than a few grand a week. thats just wasteful and stupid. i want us to make as much as we can over the next 3 yrs while spending as little as needed, so when we return to the spl we are in an extremely healthy way.

I think ally is so determined that money is not the issue - winning is- ally is working on the revenge that is 55!!! it aint about the cash now for ally.
i agree m8. i was just saying that we cant afford to pay managers/assistants/coaches etc x amount of money in the lower lges, its to wasteful.

if queens park get all the money from there games at hampden, they will be very well off by the end of the season.
rough guestimate-
20000 x 12 = 240k x 2 = 1/2mil probs run their club for the next 10 yrs

i love ally and i am 100% behind him, infact i was 1 of the few who was fighting his corner all last year. my doubt that he will be a gr8 manager for our club has never waned.
however now that we are in div 3, ally and all his staff will have to take large paycuts. i believe they will all accept this, but if they dont mr green may have no choice but to replace ally and that would cause a civil war.
im not sure what ally is on per week but we cant afford to pay 10-15k week for managers until we return to the spl.
any one have thoughts on this?

Our Club must have been prepared for this so I would imagine they already have the prices worked out.
They should realease emails and revamp the website to current ST holders TODAY!

i agree with this.
however i would like to add that any businessman/owner would probs do the same, the financial difference between spl and sfl3 is massive.
i hope mr green relises the stregth of position he is in and makes sure we get a good deal if this comes to pass

Surely the local Constabulary will police our matches as they usually do?
i ment to say if needed, however local polis never seem to have trouble nytime we have visited a smaller team in the cups or that.

im honestly shocked at the hatred towards our club, i always knew we were not liked. but its beyond a fucking joke.

its ctually refreshing to see a club act in there best interests and against the wishes of their fans who have obviously been caught up in the rangers hate campaign.
i wanted div3 so im happy but in all honesty the clubs in div1 should have all voted yes to div1 if they were working in the best interest of their club. however to many boards have been sucked in by the hate/punish rangers campaign and the lies of sporting integrity which has been non-exsistent since we entered admin.

Well it's about time!!! I finally managed to register on the forum - after nearly 2 hours of trying. That image thing you have to read to register is stupidly difficult. It took me over 14 attempts in the end.

there would be no interest without us and as it is 25 of OUR games i dont see why we should not be entitiled to atleast 50%. the rest of the sfl will still be getting money the would not of got if we were not in the league.
