It's gone, finished, Scottish football has fell waaaaaaaaay behind other leagues because Fans are not treated like adults. It's not a day out for most folk, as a class of entertainment it is non existant. I want to have something edible and a beer while i'm at the game and a few beers after or before when I'm up at the stadium. I know guys that leave at half time some games to go to the pub FFS. It's 2011 and the people who run the game should act like it is, not 1981. Football is a form of entertainment and should be treated as so instead of fleecing the fans at every turn. This is why "supporters" are walking away from stadia, every club in scotland is taking the piss out of their fans. 2000 going to a game where the capacity is 10-15000, does that not tell you the bloody tickets are well overpriced? how do Kilmarnock, Hamilton, Aberdeen and the likes survive? The more people you get through the door the more they will spend on goods and merchandise. Why have 2000 at 25 quid a go when you can have 8000 at £10 or £15 a ticket, spending money on food etc, too. If you went into a shop and got a pie or burger at the standard served at most grounds you would return it. I honestly believe that within 10 years maybe sooner scottish football will only be available via STV or BBC scotland and NO satallite or cable company will go near it it's that bad. You only have to look at the scottish champions not being shown on ITV Champions league to know it's inevitable. Spend a bit of time going to other games around europe or even england, lower division, and it's head and shoulders above the "entertainment" we are provided with. RIP!
