In bed and can't get up to get my wallet for fear of waking my little one, but I'll definitely donate tomorrow mate. Hope you reach your target quickly. All the best to your Mum.

Cheers pal. Yes I wouldn't condone waking the little en up for this! But thanks very much buddy. Much appreciated.

Hopefully we smash the target and I'll get a picture of my mams reaction to pulling the car up on the driveway.

I think as Mearns Loyal said you could auction these shirts and help with the fund raising.

I would imagine while some might want to be in a raffle for them most RM members will have donated because they want to help your Mum and you as a family.

That is just my personal opinion mate and just do what you think is best.

I've genuinely no idea what people would pay for it to be honest. Seeing as it was probably our worst team ever ? but hey ho. I'll have to look into it. Thanks matey!

  3. Ok so on the plus side, I've also found I have an old training jersey that's been signed by multiple players - honestly couldn't tell you thw year but I'm guessing anywhere between 2007 - 2011 haha. This will also be auctioned/given away when the target is reached. Apologies I don't have any info on the training shirt, honestly forgot I bought it. But a signature expert may tell who the signatures are.

The home top is definitely our division 3 side and I'm sure the full squad signed it.  Here are the pics for anyone interested :)

It's a good idea but to make it a wee bit fairer stick in "tiers". As in:

    - if someone donated £5 their name is in the hat once

    - if someone donated £10 their name is in the hat twice

etc etc. So the people who donated more, have a better chance of winning the shirt.

My only worry pal is there are a few anonymous donators so I can't really tell who's donated what.

I did think of suggesting if people donated a further £1 but left their name or RM name then I could do it that way, but it seems cheeky to ask twice so that's why I was a bit stuck. But I totally understand your point of whoever has donated more deserves a bigger chance, it's just hard to implement. That said, the amount donated by each user isnt an issue.

Every donation is warmly appreciated and if my mum would allow me to take a picture of her currently crying over the rangers fans on here that has put their hands in their pockets to help out, then I would. She is overjoyed at the moment. That moment in itself is better than anything right now. So thank you all for that too.

  5. What I shall do is when we've reached the 1k mark, I'll write down the names of all the donators, put the names in a hat at work and draw a name and post the shirt out to you if that's the best way of doing it? Ideally it'd want framed but Ill have to leave that up to the winner, I bought the shirt a few years ago and it's sat hanging in the wardrobe ever since. May as well let a bear that wants it have it. I think that's the best way unless someone has a suggestion?

    Cheers lads.

I dont get paid until next week (jakey loyal) but I'll fire in a contribution asap. My dads blind so although it's not the same I can empathise, all disabilities have one thing in common; they can make life a hell of a difficult.

Don't worry mate, there's 29 days left for donations. If we do smash the target I'll be donating a large chunk of any extra to my local palliative care unit to fund things like wheelchairs or other equipment. So there's no huge rush.

All the best to your dad. You are correct, disability's are a bastard, but it puts in perspective all the crap that bothers you when a loved one is suffering something like that.

I appreciate your contribution pal it'll go a long way. Many thanks. WATP

  7. Evening lads. Sorry if I'm not allowed to post it here, will remove if needed.

As a few of you know my mum was diagnosed with brain mets a couple of months ago. Well ever since radiotherapy she's been housebound. As we cannot afford to lose the chunk of PIP that would be deducted for a mobility car, I'm hoping to raise £1500 to buy her a used one privately.

Any donations massively appreciated bears, and if the funds reach £1000, I'll then do a lotto draw for a signed rangers shirt (from the first team in division 3)

I'll leave the post im sharing on Facebook in here. Thanks so much in advance.

    Hi lads.

Back in April my mum, a nurse of 30+ years, was diagnosed with brain cancer. Since then her Mobility has deteriorated. After a lifetime of giving to others I'm hoping we can give something back to her.

We want to raise £1500 to buy a cheap Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) so that we can take mum out and about to do shopping, visit friends, go to the beach, do all the things me and you do without a care in the world. But being housebound is a horrible position to be in. With your help, we can Change that.

Any donations are massively appreciated and when goals are reached of £500 and £1000 I'll share videos of a sponsored head shave and a back waxing.

Thanks in advance, and if you'd like to donate, please click the link below.

I was all positive about him but after this last week ive got a feeling he's going to be the next Peralta.

Tbf, I'd of took peralta last season - was nowhere near the level we need but no worse than what we had, and he wouldn't of shit out a tackle at the least.

  9. fuck me, we get embarassed once and they call for the managers head. Didn't say that when Brenda's Celtic lost to the mighty red imps, or when Man U lost to MK Dons.

it was an embarassment, move forward, give the manager til the end of the campaign and if he hasn't met targets (1 cup, strong second / push for first) then decide on his future. honestly a joke. We never expected to do well in this tournament, we are still playing a number of pish players (I will now include wallace in that) and the team we are building is going to be 10 fucking strangers, you need time to gel and work well together.

    patience is lost in some.
