I saw Ally and Walter at a petrol station just outside of Glasgow on my way home from a game. Both very pleasant, this was before Ally became a gardener though.

They actually piss me off something rotten. What are they actually doing that is of great benefit to our club?

Finance, management, infastructure, playing squad, ability to attract better players.
Not to mention their bargaining of players that they sign for 50p, play 3 games in Europe where they get humped all game then want 50mil for them.

Rangers 4 Celtic 2, September 2011. Think Lafferty got 2 that day and maybe jelavic?

I like Barry Fry and his infectious personality, his book was good.
I detest Barry fry for fucking southend united over and taking Ricky Otto and our best players with him to Birmingham in the 90s. That lad was the black Ryan giggs.

i dont know why dodoo cant get a game, I know hes not done a lot, but hes definitely an option from the bench when we cant get a goal. two goals against partick i think, and not many chances since.

Big Harry Redknapp could be tempted. He is currently an advisor to central coast mariners. He must be choking to get back into club management.
A good old school hairdryer manager, could attract decent players, has a great record with youth.
Look at what that crooked bastard did to Portsmouth. Bought in players he couldn't afford and fucked the club over. Pretty much the same at Southampton as well.
Pretty sure he never paid us the rest of the fee for Hutton either, and his accountant is even more bent than ours was.
Avoid like the plague!

I think if MW is sacked, or terminates mutually, I can see kenny being interim player/manager - like Giggs was for united. but to be honest, I think if he is let go, it will be later in the season, maybe after we lose to them again, or if we slip further down the table.
I don't think we should bin Warbs now, I think we should see out the season as losing a manager mid season is too risky when we are trying to secure second place.
Hodgson is a great shout, did really well with fulham, seem to remember him getting them to a Europa league final. Plus, I think he has that gentleman aspect about him, a bit like Warbs has, but he has a much broader knowledge of football.

tom and kim skogsrud. highly thought of in man city's youth setup, we signed em, think they went back to norway.

Matty Taylor goes for 300k and we decide to spend a similar amount on a back up goalie while letting our more than adequate back up leave on a free, truly baffling
A backup goalie that doesn't want to sit on the bench at this stage of his career that we manage to get a transfer fee for, with his age considered.
We also pick up a young and coming keeper who's featured in the premier league and did ok when I seen him, for peanuts and an already higher potential sell on fee.
Matty Taylor that wanted to stay in Bristol, who will be earning a lot more than we can offer.
Dig your head out the sand, it's not just a transfer fee you have to consider, otherwise don't you think we would have got a dembele or similar by now?

I wouldn't mind betting we got the exact same figure that we paid for alnwick. Or as close to as possible, and alnwick will be coming in on lower wages (few grand a week I should expect maximum) so overall it has cost us nothing. Therefore because gilks was a freebie, we've essentially got alnwick on a freebie. Good deal tbh.
What people also fail to consider is our youngsters might not be good enough. An injury to big Wes and a kid coming in as back up from our academy, a few sour performances and it'll devastate the lad, knock his confidence and could drift off into obscurity, all the while you lot that pray for our academy players to get a chance slaughter him. I remember seeing all the slagging posts about McKay.

More to the point - who's paying for him to be in a hotel of the standard Man U would use?
Maybe himself?
Probably on a couple of grand a week and it'll probably be a Hilton or similar. Not exactly 10k a night.

On par with success?
I must've been asleep when rangers won 2 champions leagues in the last 20 years.
Anyway, kids a united fan, more to the point he's a young lad let him live his life as long as he isn't bringing his club(s) into disrepute then let him get on with it.
Some of the biggest moaning barstools ever on this forum, not happy when we are winning or losing.

Aye mate just more smoke and mirrors from yet another Rangers board.
If we keep this strategy going we won't be seeing any 55 anytime soon.
Kenny miller will get to 55 before we do

Hope he does well then mate.
I hope he's poor, about the only chance we'd get of nabbing him on a free when his contracts up ?

I watched the match. We weren't pish.
I tell you one thing that was pish, was 7500 of them cunts outsinging us in our own ground. That's pish

I personally thought we were much better today. We conceded but we still hung in there, played much more confidently than the midweek. A few daft decisions maybe cost us (waghorn, Forrester for example) but as frustrating as it was at times you have to look at the positives that we did play much better.
FOD - top class. Not a lot he could do about either goal
Hill - top drawer
Wilson and kiernan - much better than recently, wee bit shaky at times but didn't do a lot wrong.
Tav - flashes of decent play, but overall poor today.
McKay - top class. Taking men on, confidence under pressure, fantastic play today.
Halliday and Holt - felt these two had there bad moments (more so halliday) but overall better than recent performances.
Windass - excellent passing, movement, good drive.
Miller was great, waghorn not so much. Felt waggy was ineffective today.
Let's hope 2017 is a better year
-
Guy makes one fuck up and yous are out for blood.
We made some daft mistakes today, but try and take some positives you morbid bastards.
McKay was outstanding, windass and hill top drawer too. Kiernan played alright as did Wilson. And there all players that took pelters from the support recently.
We lost, we knew we weren't going to walk it, chin up and on to the next game. Transfer window is open so hopefully a clearout and some good signings in for the push for European football next year.
We are the people!
