See where your coming from, but defence is a lot less intensive than attack, hence why sir David of weir played till 40 for us

Oh definitely - I'm also hoping he is rested to prevent potential injury - we are going to need him in the big games as much as possible - I think the other Portuguese defender and maybe Wilson can handle the bottom 6 teams. Squad rotation is essential, no need to field your strongest 11 every week.

DW may well have played a massive number of games, but no guarantees Bruno can handle a potential 60 game season. Plus, it allows the youngsters some invaluable game time that they'll need to develop.

Hope he kicks on. From good Rangers stock as well, which is always a bonus. Allegedly turned down an EPL move a while back, so seems to be highly thought of. Hopefully fulfills his potential.

not entirely sure, but was that no his brother the goalie?

    Warburton

Because his hairs the same colour as the bread packaging ??

Don't get me wrong, bates could be an average player, just seemed a bizarre signing to me at the time. Will probably see him punted about on loan then released imo.

  4. If he goes, we MUST slap a 25% sell on fee on him. You can bet your life he goes and does a will Hughes, plays bang average living on the hype of his potential and gets a decent money move to the prem at somewhere like palace or Watford.

I for one would like to see how he does in the next couple of months especially in Europe, to add a few million dembele dollars to his price tag. I'm 50/50 on selling him as he's probably the most gifted Scottish player we have, but we can't have slackers and liabilities.

I think this season we may start off slower but improve as the season progresses when the players start to gel and find their feet in this League, having a Scottish contingent who has played here should help with that.,

I think it'll help having the Scottish players in and around and supporting the imports will help a lot. The likes of jack in the middle, along with Pena and Herrera/Morelos potentially having miller in support, i do agree though I think it may be a slow start and thankfully the first few games are what id call easy games so hopefully we can still pull off results while they are bedding in.

I'm not sure mate as I said it's just something I've seen shared online a few times this morning. No idea how much truth is in it.

Cashley wouldn't let us get 100% on sales from anywhere. Good business sense to say more profit out your own store, equal split out of his stores. Not sure on the accuracy of the figures myself but it's common sense really. If 100% went to the club we would all only get em from there and cashley knows that.

  7. I'd rather an easier first 3 or 4 games to be honest. Hamilton, Motherwell, Ross county etc.

Gives the team a chance to gel and adapt to the league, less pressure on the players, good start to the league could help no end. A tough game that if we lost might have a big negative impact on the team.

  8. I live 120 miles from Glasgow, so I can't get to the megastore that easily.

Will bite the bullet and get one from my local sports direct, least the club will be getting more than pennies for my purchase.

Gonna be tough to call the poll. Laudrup is a good bit ahead so far but I know that will probably change to a more even split by tonight.

We won't have 2 players of that immense quality in our team again for a while yet, if ever.

    Was good times!

to think now we have mckay and windass... lol

I dont think its that at all mate, i think the point being made is those coming late to the party are trying to say the old songs and views shouldnt be aired. That to me is wrong

If I've picked that up wrong then my bad. Wonder how the Anti - Catholic fans would feel if Pedro signed a team full that won the league?

  11. So you can't support the team you love if you aren't a loyalist?

I don't defend them, or what their club has done and covered up, but I'm not Irish so I don't feel the need to bring religion into matters of who I support. I'm an Atheist and a proud rangers fan (with my shite £20 tattoo)

I certainly wouldn't mock any loyalists or older fans for having their beliefs, that's fine, but it's a cuntish thing to slag fans with no political/religious affiliation just because you have your views.

Done very well considering they were desperate to get him to say something they could use!

"Aberdeen are a massive club" though ???

Best answer he could have given. If he'd shat on them it'd make front page news and there would be effigies burning by Saturday. It's nice that he still has respect for his previous employer, shows that he is a professional.

Thought he was very respectful and handled that conference very well. Think Barrie needs to give it a watch for some tips ?

I have read Pedro's preferred formation is 4-4-2 (6) which is known as having a double 6. Google it for info

Looks more like a 4-1-2-1-2 to me mate. CDM covering the defence, 2 central midfielders and a CAM feeding balls in to the top two. Can't see it being that if Pedro wants to play the wide game with the likes of candeias and potentially walker signing on?
