    My first game at Ibrox was the pre-season "Trial" in 1961 or 1962 so I was weaned on the immortal "Ritchie, Shearer, Caldow...." line-up. The stadium then had a grandeur about it that no other ground could match, as a five-year-old I was completely overawed.

    Saw him twice at Ibrox with PSG and Barca and thought he was disappointing although there's no denying he had all the skill in the world and at his peak was a supreme entertainer.
