  1. Don't bother mate. It's like thbe Salem Witch hunts from The Crucible on here for some. If you make one honest comment about Rangers that some don't like, the fingers get pointed
  2. There is no level as he has been rank all season and he still gets a jersey. How he got picked before Mckay astounds me TBH.
  3. Agree 100%. Apply this also to McKay because I do not buy this "he's not doing it in training" shit.
  4. As Abe Lincoln said "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time..."
  5. I liked Thomson a lot. He showed that the holding midfielder could also pass the ball and create goals and not just be a limited one paced plank of wood stuck in front of the back 4. Thomsons performance in the 1-0 win over Celtic when Edu scored in the last minute was fantastic IMO.
  6. With McCulloch's ban now finished how many think that he will play next week V Aberdeen? If he plays, does anyone esle think that his inclusion could be a defining point of our and Ally's first season as a manager. Personally speaking, I do not know one Rangers fan that wants McCulloch in our team or thinks that he adds anything to our play. I will be utterly dejected if he plays next week or indeed if he plays again this season.
  7. That should have been the team today but hey Ally had other ideas...
  8. I've said it on another thread and I will say it again. Surely it was more important to keep playing Fleck (in behind the striker) as we need to build his confidence. During Naisy's lay off, a confident Fleck will be more important to the team than giving Healy another few run outs for his boyhood heroes IMO.
  9. His comments after the Motherwell game were the worst. An injury "forced" us to play the ball on the deck...? He "allowed" Fleck to get forward? What else would you expect him to do?
  10. Considering our manager was a forward makes this even harder to understand TBH
  11. Is the guy Jaager a right back? I prey for the day when we actually play 2 actual full backs and not CB's
  12. Ally seemed happy with todays performance....!!?? http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-premier/rangers/293667-ally-mccoist-has-never-been-so-happy-with-team/
  13. I must be in the minority but I just don't rate Bartley. For an Arsenal player he seems keen to hit the long pass and I feel that he is a few tackles away from being booked/red carded
  14. I agree. They're not the team their comical fans claim to be. I love the way that they suddenly become world beaters and all their players values rocket just after they have put together a small unbeaten streak. If I was Tim (god forbid) I would be asking why my team spent £4 million on a Mexican player that has played about 10 games and why after spending £2 million on Bangura, are we trying to punt him after 3 months. Throw in the cash wasted on Rassmussun and Hooiveld and that makes a tidy sum.
  15. How can you make that assessment? Most people would have claimed that being an occasional Aberdeen player would have been Aluko level but now it seems we can't do without him
  16. If this horrible prediction comes true mate, I like many other Rangers fans will lose faith in what Ally is doing. If Ally thinks we are a better with Lee in the team we will not win the league and I fear he will be writing his own P45 TBH
  17. My biggest concern is that after nearly 30 games we are none the wiser about what Ally is trying to do as the Rangers manager. I know his primary remit is simple, win as many game as possible but his lack of any definative style and blueprint are worrying IMO. I'm not saying he has to emulate Barca or anything daft like that but when you see other young managers like Paul Lambert and Brendan Rodgers maintain a defined positive ideal with their play and then you see us lurch from one baffling performance to another it is hard to work out. Other things that concern me have been his inability to learn from his very obvious mistakes. The selection of McCulloch and other makeshift players in midfield (Bartley, Papac, Wallace) when we have a recognised midfielder waiting in the wings doing nowt. The insistence on using the long ball is another worry when it is obvious the players are not comfortable and we don't have the personal for such route one hoofball. All in all, as a fan I am looking for signs of progress but at the monent I would need a microscope TBH
  18. Fair points but after months of turgid football are we really looking for someone that will turn a game on it's head? IMO we just need a guy that can play the ball on the deck and at least try to combine with our better ball players. I'm sure he would do well with better players around him? A bit like Aluko in that respect
  19. Who cares FFS? He's Spanish for goodness sake, so I'm sure that makes him a Catholic like our other Spanish player Jaun Ortiz and ex-players Nacho Novo and Mikel Arteta. As long as he does the business on the pitch he can do what the fleck he wants TBH.
  20. Welcome dude How long have you been a member of the Big Apple Bears? Did you go to The British Open when it was based there??
