  1. It's not surprising that liquidation is being talked about as the 6th April deadline is looming. From this date any debts incurred by a company that is liquidated are transferred to the newco - the administrators and bidders will be well aware of this fact too. It is also very suspicious that the Big Tax case decision has been postponed until after this date, so as much as I hate to say it, the 5th April could be a very important day for the club - and not in a good way.....
  2. The only issue I can see arising is the 75% rule to get a CVA agreed. If the debt to them is £24million, there is the possibility they could throw a spanner in the works (for the other bidders) as their percentage of the debt could be high - although the final figure would be dependent on HMRC. However, could this situation put Paul Murray's Blue Knight consortium at an advantage as they are now in partnership with one of the largest creditors?? I could also be talking complete nonsense.......
  3. I have known the guy for years (not all of a sudden) and asked for his opinion. He gave me his opinion, as clearly stated, based upon previous experience. I'm sorry if this rankles you, but it seemed relevant to the post at the time......and the correct term is accountant.
  4. Having spoken to an HMRC employee who lives nearby (off the record), he has told me that in his opinion they would settle for the back PAYE, a small fine and around £12 million settlement for the EBT. If that were the case, it would be a good basis for a CVA based takeover - as long as Whyte doesn't put a spanner in the works........
  5. Magnificent example set by them all. Somehow I feel if the great unwashed at septic were in the same position they would not be so ready to make the necessary sacrifices to help save their club
  6. Also there is a saying that the difference between madness and genius is only measured by success......
  7. Great post - well written and presented. I have to agree with most of the points you made and it appears this whole painfully protracted process has been for "the greater good". Yes it has been unethical, immoral, and not the Rangers way but, and a very important but, when has business ever been "nice"? At the end of the day, Whyte has been seen to be a proven liar in the public realm but if he had come out and said " well my plan is to force the club into administration so we force HMRC into a reduced payment agreement via a CVA" we would have been liquidated months ago. I do feel there is a bigger picture but one the fans are not party to.......yet!
  8. Never - too many taigs in Munlochy!!
  9. It was great seeing Super Ally make reference to the fact we are wounded and certain people are getting a kick in. The list of those doing so appears to be growing daily but what is the best way to exact our revenge when we come out of all this?
  10. Ha ha - brilliant post! The Dingwall 'gadgies' are going mental because their beloved Jailend stand is getting converted to seats... if you want to know all about the town, go to http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Dingwall
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if tomorows Daily Mail's headline would be "Craig Whyte Gives You Cancer!!"............
  12. .......colder than a step-mother's kiss!!
