  1. With all this boycott chatter got to thinking about all the places I've been to watch Rangers and my first ever European away game. Went to Milan in 1984 to see us play Inter in the Uefa Cup. The memories that I have from this trip will never leave me. Only 14 and from Drumchapel I went on the Bishopbriggs bus which was very well ran. Can't remember the big guys name who ran the bus at the time but to me he was one of them legendary mountain of a Bear characters A 2 day bus journey to Milan with all them memorable stops at numerous service stations, the faces of the staff when thousands of Bears descended upon them in the UK and abroad. Thrown in with the card game on the boat, were I kindly assisted one of the Bears at the Blackjack table to give the dealer a doing and got a tenner for my troubles. Had my picture taken with a group of Rangers fans with a couple of penguins with the Bears showing there gratitude to the penguins with a few extended versions of our greatest songs The Rangers end was a sea of Union Jacks tied around the San Siro and there was a youth game going on before the match. Italians started to come onto the pitch and steal flags and I remember it all kicking off and a few hundred bears chasing the Italians around the side of stadium to get the flags back. The boys from the Bishy bus had stood tall and I remember the war wounds some of them had with one big guy actually breaking his leg and he was dropped off at hospital in England on the way home. Sadly we were beaten 3 nil with Super Ally missing a good chance that would probably have seen a few thousand bears on the pitch if he had scored. The Inter fans were up to all sort of nonsense during the game and after but them and the city of Milan knew the Rangers had been in town. Wonderful memories that I will cherish until my last breath. I understand there is a lot of friction between the support just now but we should and we must remember We Are the Greatest Fans in the world of that I have no doubt. It is now more than ever the club needs us and I for one will always be there. Thank you Rangers
  2. Just seen this nonsense and did not click the link instead read through the posts and can see this article should be given no more hits from Bears. I cannot in a million years see any fellow Rangers fans boycotting the club. Not wanting to offend our Muslim, Jewish and Sikh followers but we are a protestant fan base, this is who we are, it's in our blood to protest, to have an opinion. To boycott Ibrox never in a fucking million years should this even be considered. The message has been loud in clear in this thread. If I could buy my ST and my 2 daughters for next season right now that deal would be done. As in other threads if you read whats out there on timternet a new onslaught has begun, time for more of us to start fighting the real enemy and I for one will be doing a bit more than I have in the past. No Surrender
  3. Couldn't agree more with this. Sit in the Govan Front and when he's down that side you see the class that he has. Hear that he's also a great lad in the dressing room and is a defo for our future captain. Would be gutted to see him go as a few other posts have said would take at least 3 mill plus for me not to be disappointed
  4. Ha ha honestly!!! weres all the shifties for this cnut!! fuck off indeed. as Super Ally Said WE DON'T DO WALKING AWAY
  5. I'm hoping your 73 bud and bought your 1st season ticket in 1950 hence how cheap it was Will be renewing with my 2 girls who love going to the games and cant wait to see us march all the way back to the top.
  6. Struggled to watch that video there. I hope we have an Orange day at Ibrox as the time we done it against the sheep in the 2000 cup final was immense and this would show Fernando what it meant to us for him to wear the jersey. C'mon Rangers lets make it happen
  7. Have to say this has been one of the best debated posts on the Bears Den i've read for a while. I've never really been happy with the way things have been going with the board over the past year and a half but to boycott Ibrox is far and a beyond a step to far. Apathy also should not be accepted and we should challenge as a fan base when things are not being done in a positive way to take the club forward. I truly believe now more than ever is the time for us to pull together after the AGM. As said on so many posts we have enough people wanting to harm us and these are the ones we should be facing up to and there is plenty of them to be challenging. The journey is still ongoing and one we should all be making together. A very proud bear indeed. United We Stand Divided We Fall
  8. Gotta agree with the shout for Souness . Know a few people who played against him when they were younger and said that he just oozed class on the pitch even when he was kicking them. Hard as fcuk
  9. He was the man back in the day I suppose he would tell he's still the man
  10. Had been out the WKMFB for several years but have had so many great memories and times to look back on. My brother passed away a few years ago but when I think of WKMFB I think of him bud cause of these great times. AB the man who made it all happen back in the day is still a good friend and as you say it is very very sad they are gone but still I have all them great memories.
  11. Cheers bump was beginning to think I was being a bit OTT. Suppose it was my first post and should have introduced myself first before having a gripe about the idiots who seem to be placing this nonsene on it.

  19. No worries, if you don't care about wee ugly characters with Green and Grey tops been shown on a 5 minute advert for real radio making the dream of some beggars come true on RTV then so be it bud.
