  1. Looked great until he found October Cafe and Vodka Red Bull!
  2. You think we will get dough for him? Got to doubt that myself CB. Has he ever been transferred for cash in his career?
  3. Spiers damaged us and is doing his utmost to cosy in with the Rangers support again. It was much less a hatred of our club and more a battle of ego versus David Murray that led to him criticising the fans initially I reckon - as usual we paid the public price in the duel of the middle-upper class wankwars, and so it always shall be.
  4. He practically sprinted away never mind the talk about walking away
  5. I'd imagine so too Gogzy, good riposte. Only reason I would avoid Daly is because I don't feel he has much left in the tank, although only 30 he has had some pretty nasty injury problems and is subsequently about as fast as Gordan Petric on valium - can only see him deteriorating rapidly over the next few seasons. He would be a good striker for us if fit no doubt, I just can't see it being worth the risk - any notion of signing him as a CB must be April fool chat, any forward worth his salt ain't gonna drop down divisions and move to Centre Half no matter how well he plays that position, that just does not compute with me.
  6. Defo, some of the posters on here eat bloggers for breakfast I reckon. Personally I always have a chuckle reading Leggo though! Think McMurdo's daily dose of contradictions and Chris Graham's little Tory boy viewpoints get right up people's snout to be fair, their day is nearing an end thank fuck - the Green n' Grey lot have turned against their bloggers too now I noticed reading FF. Was a fad, I reckon a decent forum beats papers, bloggers, the lot.
  7. Longmuir has made a total arse of things, from a position of strength last summer to the redundant looking figure we have today - he is making Roncaster and Degan look good, tool of a man and a real disappointment.
  8. Davidson would stroll in to our team, I think a few folk could do with a sprinkle of reality along with their Lamb Bhuna. I highly doubt we will require anyone of his caliber next season, let's just get a few lower league stand-out's in as was discussed here on RM a couple of days ago and stop spunking cash uneccesarily.
  9. Can't we just call the CEO 'Green', for that is who we speak of. I can't see Murray recommending half of the players who ended up coming last summer to be fair. I believe he would have looked to follow the tried and trusted Livi/Gretna route to gain promotion except with 1st and 2nd div players who would have gave an eye to play for Rangers, instead we end up paying inflated wages for the likes of Shiels and Black? To this day I have no idea why we never followed their lead, I must be fucking stupid or simple but there was a clear blue print there for us to copy and improve on with players who would have been easy to negotiate with and instead we end up with Edmilson, sheer neglect of the football club I'd say and I find it difficult to believe NM is in any way responsible.
  10. Good point, I was thinking that Mr M may have been our press leak but what you say makes sense.
  11. (The tediously strange Affair of Regan, Liewell, The Glasgow Cabbie, Neil Murray, er, Dragan Stojkovic and Fran Sandaza - brought to you by Legwold Davidatt Can't really see it squire to be honest, sounds a tad far-fetched but stranger things have happened.
  12. Sounds a lot like there are allegations of misconduct r.e. Murray.
  13. Totally Bizarre, making it up as they go along, I'm convinced.
  14. Good post and a fine way to end the night, particularly those last few lines, couldn't agree more with that philosophy. We have exhausted the CG chat last couple of nights and in many ways we are on the right track as I have been reminded. I am out - have a top weekend lads
  15. I think a lot of that makes sense WCP, and I am glad Mike McDonald left the consortium just before Green and his people took over. Would like to know who is behind it all though, and who has the real cash in the consortium - anonymity and accountability good bedfellows do not often make.
  16. If we do stay in the bottom tier I would go for a couple older heads, even from our current div and give a few younger (early-mid 20's) players that have done well this season a shot too, why not? - Dave Anderson from Queens Park and Lee Currie at Berwick being decent examples from each bracket. Dylan Easton looks like a prospect too.
  17. Ditto. I think he would come back too.
  18. This is one of the reasons I have some doubts, from Utd fans: http://aunitedview.b...sells-team.html Different scenario I know but after previous grief worth a look, the part where he offers Harry Bassett a square-go is pretty good stuff though!
  19. Thought Wallace would have strolled this at one point earlier in the season, now I'd go for Little.
