This is the reality of our situation I cannot understand how so many of us don't realise how bad the situation is. Too many folk making a lot of money from us and giving little in return. Don't forget we don't have an overdraft either we can literally only spend what we have. The only chance we have is investment in youth and a proper scouting network. We all wanted him to succeed but come off it he has had a much fairer suck if the bottle than anyone else would have been afforded. Do we really need to have the 2nd highest wage bill while playing in a part time league? What are the long term benefits of a smith or foster in the team apart from stifling development of our younger players. He has lurched from one disaster to another both pre and post admin. I feel he is equally driven by personal success as well hence why he has thrown the kitchen sink at his squad instead of investing more time in training/development combined with the SPL stars he already has. All we needed where a couple of journeymen in defense from the lower divisions and we would have walked this league. If we do go back into admin then Ally is as much to blame as anyone for trying to buy a part time league.

All Green has done has put a level of expectation on Ally to match his spending. This has resulted in the Rangers men to spit the dummy. He is concerned at the level of spending and rightly so. Can someone please justify what Ally has done to merit being the highest paid manager in Scotland ? Green works on a non sentimental way and expects his companies to make money. We just need a manager who can produce the goods on a shoe string investing more time and effort in developing youth rather than sign the likes of foster and smith ! Spot on!! We have a manager who can't beat Part Time players without paying top dollar, the 2nd highest wage bill in Scotland. He is as far as we know the highest paid manager in Scotland just now and for the kind of money he is on I wouldn't walk away either. A club legend but has no football philosophy relying on paying high wages to win a part time league. There are some on the board who have watched Ally underperform spectacularly and don't hold any sentiment. If WS was running us Ally would be un sackable. There is no room for sentiment when a very highly paid employee underperforms so badly and at a cost to the club itself.

However he has been exposed for being a shockingly bad manager who has to buy success in a part time league and makes no apology about it.
