You do need the darker room, I have black out blinds and it's in the bedroom, where as the Philips motheye is fantastic in the light. Pana is just one hell of a tv, but it's like running a v8 engine with electricity compared to led even with 256 led lights on the back of it The Sony is a hell of a tv I have to admit. I love the that cable stuff and recommend it to friends etc. Best tenner you could spend on your TV if your not gonna spend over 40- 50 quid

Depends what you want really, I change my tv's every couple of years, the wife goes mad. The last one was. 50inch vt Panasonic plasma as they not making any more. The best tv I have ever owned. Xbox is fantastic on it as are films, it's up their with the all time classic the pioneer Kuro it is that good. Only downside is they need darker rooms. Yep who would ever have known the plasma was slightly better than the Philips 9 series moth eye. And the Philips is a great tv also, the sound quality is better than the Panasonic

The best picture Samsung have is on their plasma according to experts, even better than the new curved 4k

You really have not a clue. What is the best speakers, amp, cd or phono Deck have you ever bought? I don't mean all in one systems, I am talking Cyrus etc class? What is the most you have ever spent on a lcd, led or plasma?

3d can be a hit and miss, my panasonic plasma is amazing with 3d, where as my philips is terrible.

Hey don't knock that cable. For no more than a tenner you can have a cable that is far superior than the ones provided in the box. I have been into stereos, tv's for years, drives the wife mad as a spent a small fortune on cables.If you want as much as your tv can give then the van den hul ultimate will get it. Expensive yes, but if you have a top end tv then it's worth the outlay. You would not drive a Porsche 911 and go to tesco for fuel, You would head to shell for V power petrol as it would get more out your car.

The fanatec csr wheel with elite pedals and shifters are worth around £400, got 2 power block, Nyko base to charge both black controllers and Nyko fan which keeps the 360 cooler, all in like new condition wheel hardly used as don't find the time. Would except £250 or £270 delivered, stay in Glasgow area. But the xbox one version is using the same engine they designed for metal gear solid. Is the 360 version using the same engine?

They go on about graphics but never speak about spending on a decent hdmi cable. I Have van den hul ultimate on both my sky hd boxes and use my old van den hul flat on my xbox 360. Just like with stereo equipment a cable can make a hell of a difference in sound and picture quality, would recommend the Van den hul Ultimate for anyone with a decent led or plasma tv.

I have never been a fan of sony, the only thing I have not bought was the sony 3. It is really down to personal choice, I have been happy very happy with the 360 even thou I had 2 as one died. It could come down to games or even joypad as they are both impressive machines. I love the 360 joypad and am seriously considering the xbox one as pro evo is out in a couple of weeks.
