Stuck £50 on us at 16/1 to win the top title by the end of the 17/18 season 2 years ago...I'm fairly happy with the bet as I won't get 16/1 for either the 16/17 or 17/18 season anyways!

Nice display of exuberance

This crowd don't half piss me off!!

Gifted Novak the break there...

Typical when playing against Novak. One minute you're 1 set up then the next your 2 sets to 1 down.
Well he's still a set up

Yes...One down...Two to go ?

Surely someone as committed as Djokovic who's desperate to win the French Open and after losing two previous finals at the event, not to mention upsets to the likes of Nishikori in slams not long before would be fully prepared no matter who the opponent is? It's a slam final after all and In my view it's not in his nature to think like that. Stan was just exceptional after the first set, I never seen that coming from him after losing the first set.
In regards to today, I honestly have no idea what to expect. Murray's serving has been brilliant recently as someone mentioned above, whilst Djokovic's has been below his normal standards and he's been broken often. I think this is much closer than the bookies suggest, with Djokovic only 1/3. Could go the distance, hopefully a great match with the two best players in the world and no doubt will be physical.
To be fair to the bookies they've actually priced this closer than recent matches Although I still think the odds should be closer than they are.
I'm looking forward to the final today, could be really close.

Looking at the team there are just so many ageing and finished bodies in there, the reluctance to try something else from Strachan is simply arrogant.
-
Clay is actually quickly becoming a better surface for Andy than the Hard Courts.
He's got a fantastic opportunity to win tomorrow and if he does it...he'll only need the Aus Open for that Golden Slam and Novak would be left needing the Olympic Gold and the French

Yes...do that cunt Novak now

Basically they're fucked...even Stubbs knows that, just getting out while his stock is highest.

Murray will face a serious test against an improved Reeshie and French crowd tomorrow.
As for Novak he has a cakewalk to the final almost. Although David Ferrer has been brilliant so far and Novak could face him in the next round. If it rains all day today that's great, as at least it'll make Novak play 2 days in a row.
EDIT: No play today, rained off until tomorrow. After tomorrow (Tuesday) does it not resort to Women's/Men's/Women's/Men's?
If not, I guess two days in a row is the best disadvantage we can hope for in regards to Djokovic.
Have the feeling Andy will prevail in straight sets against Gasquet and then of course Wawrinka will no doubt be a tough semi final opponent.

Will be getting the home top...if it's from Sports Direct so be it, if not then great!

On the positive side we have no excuses and no distractions...the league is the aim!

I have to say I agree about it being weak. He is probably trying to build a bridge or two to try and get onto the SPFL board, but I would be surprised if that happened anyway.
Guaranteed to be Ann Budge with all her greeting last year about it...

Did he not randomly take Djokovic to 5 sets in Wimbledon fairly recently or something? Very awkward first round opponent to get.
Hopefully despite the delay I hope Andy remains back in control of the match and finishes it off quickly.
-
He could just be trolling to the extreme...
Hope not though!

We need a squad...this we have not had all season. Too many players are not good enough and like for like replacements, we sort that out and Plan A is absolutely fine!

Always get a chuckle over the anger at Novak moaning or being annoyed when he's losing, he's a prick/cunt/arsehole etc. Yet Murray does it often himself, but that get's ignored as he's British....
Novak is one of a minority of players these days that applaud good shouts or play from his opponents, just need to have watched his match with Nishikori last night to see this!
Disqualified
Murray doesn't consistently complain to umpires or 'feign' injury though, there's a bit of a difference with his moaning as he moans to himself and not about anything he can find as an excuse for a defeat like Novak.

What a point to win it...get in there Andy
Best preparation for the French with a win over that prick!

Rossiter, crooks & windass all signed for under 500k is excellent business, mcparland has potienally made us a few million already, wonder who is the striker we will sign
Remember mate, you can't win things with lower league players *coughs* Vardy *coughs*
We are spending and building a team so wisely it's actually scary to think what Warburton could have done with one of our past budgets...

Wawrinka out...Murray's side of the draw looking great!
-
Federer out, Andy back to Number 2.
