Good players coming to the SPL will more than likely leave. The problem is if these players are leaving after 1 season. I wouldnt include Gio in the list. Gio was awesome and a fantatsic midfield player who gave 3 good years to Rangers.

Would Barry Ferguson of made it if Smith would never of left? I aint a rangers fan but I remember watching Ferguson v Leverkuson in the UEFA cup and wondered where this kid came from. He was superb!!!

when I first heard PLG was going to Rangers I thought he must of been promised a lot of money as I didnt think he would of taken the job with no real funds to use.

And I bet those guys would never of let the players out after a humiliating defeat. The Rangers players were out at Singh's on the eve of the 4-0 home defeat to Liverpool! The players were banned from going near Mr Singh's under PLG, remember that story? The players were very unhappy about it too if I remember correctly. If u got players who cant accept going to a certain restaurant u have to question those players and there desire to do whats best. Rangers squad reminds me of th tottenham squad when Ramos went there. He was shocked what the spurs players were drinking and eating. Doughnuts, cream cakes, coke etc.

I agree that he tried to stop the shocking dinking and eating patterns of gers players. When advocaat arrived he brought in whole heap of new players and the old guard was shipped out so he didnt have problems in implementing his way. Since dick left the club has allowed the drinking and bad eating to work its way back in. All this win together drink together rubbish is a joke and shouldnt be accepted. Pro footballers shouldnt drink and should be disciplined enough to eat well.

There is no defense for a player not being able to control a ball and then pass it accurately 5-10 yards. I'm sorry but I have seen people with more ability in a park.

Rangers should never of appointed smith. my bro is a rangers fan and he thought it was bad move and a step backwards. Some of smith's signings are disgraceful. Some of these players are so below the required standard!!

Hey I'm a liverpool fan but not here to have a go. I just wanna say I remember u guys under Advocaat and u had some wonderful footballers. Numan, Gio, Reina, Tudguy, Albertz and Ferguson in midfield. Your team then was technically very very good and u played some of the best football I have ever seen in the SPL. Even in the CL u gave some teams a spanking and played Bayern of the park twice if I remember. Now I look a Rangers and all I see is workers and runners. Players with no technical ability or the skill to keep the ball. Some of the players Walter has bought really aint up to standard. Also I really dont like the way Rangers play under Smith. Very negative.
