  1. are you stupid? all the big teams in europe are playing tonight and all we have is the spl and diddy cups plus we now have a huge squad and not enough games. away and behave yourself. good thing being pumped out of europe by a pub team. there's being positive and there's being stupid.
  2. Spot on . Listening to some people, you'd think Walter wasn't actually responsible for small things like team building, selecting a line-up, coaching, ball skills or playing guys in the right position. Every defeat is fault of certain players and the fans who criticise our 'blameless' manager. The full back situation is another debacle waiting to blow up in the manager's face, unless he gets the finger out. Whittaker is low on confidence and is never played in his best position. Without the professionalism and versatility of Papac we would be shafted because the only option is Steven Smith, injury prone and seriously lacking match fitness. BTW, 'someone' does have that duty to tell Smith when to draw the line. His name is David Murray but I don't think he seems to keen to exercise his responsibilites at the moment? Since when is David Murray qualified to tell a Manager of over 20years top flight experience when he has bought too many of a certain position. For a start it is Martin Bain that controls the money and runs the business side of things at Rangers, Walter Smith runs the Football side of it. By looking at the squad there aswell Smith sees Naismith as more of a winger, and also plays Novo as a winger more often than not. John Fleck hasn't gotten a sniff of 1st team football so far apart from making up numbers on the bench, yes he will play some part this season but more than likely will be token appearances when the team is cruising to victory. I would also say that Whittaker is more likely to play in defence, just seems that Broadfoot is favoured there at the minute. he is qualified because he is the boss and walter is an old fashioned, out of touch prick. in any business the owner has a say, when are people going to realise that football is no different?
  3. hearts and aberdeen ARE small teams. broaden your horizons, not all of us are happy just to dominate the diddy spl.
  4. rod liddle is a decent jurnalist, the rest of that article is spot-on as well. i have heard him say before that his loyalties old firm wise lie with rangers because he is a protestant, it's not p.c but let's be honest it's true! it would be nice if some pundits had the balls to admit the same thing the other way. why are the bhhhhoys allowed to sing songs praising an organisation that killed british civilians (iraokee at feyenoord anyone?) without any censor?
  5. you forgot to mention he falls over alot and get's all mean and moody when he scores
  6. how many more would the team have been able to score if he wasn't playing? goals win games of course but i would rather boyd only got 10 per season and the team got 80 than boyd got 30 and the team got 60. it seems that some fans not just boyd himself are happier to see him scoring than the team winning and playing good football. the krissy krissy boyd brigade are an embarrassment - can you people find a decent player to have your man -crush on? What a ridiculous reply! First instance, see the post below your original, or just answer the following Boyd gets 10, the "team" gets 80? Name the scorers mate! Thats not having a go, thats realism! Edit - its also more likely, we get a 1-0 win and he is the fella scoring it i was just making the point that the team is more important than 'fans favourite' boydy. it will all be academic when the big guns offer £10 mill for such a potent striker. oh yeah just cardiff.
  7. how many more would the team have been able to score if he wasn't playing? goals win games of course but i would rather boyd only got 10 per season and the team got 80 than boyd got 30 and the team got 60. it seems that some fans not just boyd himself are happier to see him scoring than the team winning and playing good football. the krissy krissy boyd brigade are an embarrassment - can you people find a decent player to have your man -crush on?
  8. maybe his parents can pay for him to attend the community coaching sessions for his birthday? he can learn how to trap the ball and maybe even how to run about like all the other footballers do!
  9. we should have seen it coming, he had attitude problems at lens and ended up being booed by his own fans. against barca at ibrox last year he was brilliant and worked really hard. i think more than anything else it's his body language that's all wrong. it's a shame because with the stronger midfield he could get's lot's of goals, best finisher at rangers strong with both feet and can win headers and hold it up. pity he can't really be bothered! mind you krissy krissy boyd fans favourite seems to get off with it!
  10. WHY?! You will blindly back him despite what he does or doesn't do? No wonder we are in the mess we're in! As for that article, I don't believe for a second that Murray would knock back any bid from anyone if they reached his asking price. walter t-rex smith is the problem not murray
  11. i've been saying it for two years. if he was so good why has no-one come and bid £8 million for him? scouts from all over europe will have seen his 'stats' and had him watched. after 30 mins they will have realised he has no touch, no pace, no heart, weight problems and a shit attitude. he can only score against lower spl teams where he is required to do running and for some reason he is not expected to hold the ball up or link play. the fact is the majority of people in ibrox are happy to watch him snarl about like a junkyard dog and when he gets his scrappy goal or his pen they can't wait to give him the adulation he craves and sing krissy krissy boyd - it's actually quite embarressing. i could be wrong of course maybe all the prem or la liga teams who keep trting to sign him know better than me. oh yeah just cardiff city.
  12. We've played 4 competitve matches this season. Kaunus (twice), Falkirk and Hearts. Have you watched the full 90 minutes of these games ? Do you think Broadfoot was 'rubbish' in any of those games ? yes
  13. is that a joke? he isn't being praised because he can't play football. open your eyes. why does everyone say he is an honest big tryer? does having no technical ability make you honest? we would all try if alter gave us a game and paid us £££s per week but it doesn't make us good enough to play for rangers. apart from anything else the guys a class a moron - always yapping away to the press like the big mentally challenged scottish defender he is. can people please stop all this "he's a good lad and a rangers fan so we'll put up with him being rubbih".
  14. i'm cringing for you. big lee fails to find a blue shirt with a pass charlie adam likewise kirky clubfoot demonstrates how not to defend daily chests the ball out for a corner bang. we are out of europe bang. in walter we trust adam wasn't signed by walter, and other than the liverpool game, broadfoot has done nothing wrong this season. agree about lee and dailly though he wasn't signed by him but he doesn't have to play him. broadfoot has done nothing right. why can't people can't see he can't play football. will everyone realise when he gives away another crazy penalty at parkhead for bear hugging someone or when another slack pass costs a goal or will his general ineptness just be enough/
