  1. Tin hat on.....Joking aside, based on content and quality of writing/articles etc I still think FF is the best fanzine available. Does Seventy2 count as a fanzine, thats a great read imho too....
  2. There were that man different people in the Trophy Room that we followed the wrong group out and ended up in the Blackthorn Lounge up in the Club Deck!! Did our 'mini-tour' go anywhere else after the trophy room?
  3. For anyone interested.... I just had an e-mail from Ibrox confirming that AFTER ONE MATCH Family Suite has closed!!! That just doesn't make business sense imho, surely the had to give it a few games for word to get out etc. Also, I assume that come the colder weather it would have become more popular as an alternative to freezing cold weans plus it would have been an ideal Xmas present for grandfather or kids for their 1st match. Just doesn't make sense to close it again so quickly.
  4. On a more general point regarding 'jouranlists' and their anti-Rangers aghenda/bhigotry... There was some journalist cunt on twitter last night throwing the H** word about, when challenged quite rightly be Bears his defence was 'Twitter only allows 140 characters, and H** is shorter than Rangers'...when questioned further his response was 'yawn!!!'. Did anyone else see it, I'd never heard of him but apparently he works for a 'broadsheet'. imho the club itself really needs to be hammering cunts like this and getting lawyers involved.
  5. Funnily enough, I had the very same conversation on Saturday. The fact that Rangers are at home on Boxing Day and how it would be an ideal Xmas present was mentioned and advice was book ASAP and they were expecting it to sell out fast.
  6. Their were obviously sound business reasons why the club introduced/reopened the Family Suite just a few short weeks ago. Earlier in the thread various pertinent points were made with regards pricing, childrens birthday parties and even the fact that come Jan/Feb when it is starting to get a bit cold & wet for younger bears that the £20 Ibrox Suite would be an viable alternative as opposed to not going at all. It would be interesting to hear the clubs reasons for discontuing this 'trial' so abruptly.
  7. Bit premature to be stopping it imho, it was only on for one match and a lot of people weren't even aware it was there. I was supposed to be in there for the Arbroath game but they have to sell 40-60 to cover costs and didn't so we were all moved up to Argyll Suite. From the conversations I had on Saturday the hospitality staff certainly seemed to be of the opinion that it may take a few games for general awareness of its availability to rise to a level where it would start making a profit but they seemed accepting of that and certainly no mention was made of closing it. imho it's defo something the club needs, if Family/Ibrox Suite is indeed closed there does not appear to be another sensibly priced option for families/birthday parties/special occasions etc. I think Argyll Suite is £79, I don't think that there is a reduced rate for children.
  8. Same here mate, great wee day out, 5 goals in 30 mins and another Super Jig hat-trick certainly helped, the wee tour afterwards was brill too, the wee man loved the trophy room. On a serious(ish) note a huge thanks to all the staff in the Argyll Suite on Saturday who went out their way to make all the kids feel at home, we had 4 under 10's in our box!!! Apologies to Broxi who came up specially to see the children and was up their for ages as everyone, especially the older gents wanted their photograph taken with him. A memorable day out.
  9. Personally, I would have told him where to stick his feckin drinks, but then again I don't socialise with mhanky bheasts.
  10. Sniff...snifff Feck right off, your 1st paragraph is a fecking disgrace!!!! How any Rangers fan can think/write that is beyond me. feckin match-fixing.....surprised you didn't use 'financial doping' & 'sporting integrity' too. He is innocent until proven guilty. His 'alledged' betting was ignored by both Ladbrokes and the SFA for six years, until he signed for Rangers. This is just another bhigoted, aghenda driven attack on our club, nothing more...nothing less. ffs...The goalie said that when he played for Scotland that the SFA ran to the bookies with his bets for him....two faced, double standards, corrupt bastards!!!
  11. Feck knows mate, they usually try and time it to cause Rangers maximum damage and give us as little time as possible to respond, so my guess would be either 5 minutes before Radio Clyde phone starts on LIVE whilst Reporting Scotland is on BBC Scotland.
  12. I personally feel that it has feck all to do with whether he was winning or losing.... Unless of course, by pure coincidence, he was losing regularly for 6 years before signing for Rangers and starting winning only over the last year or so. If he played for any othe club it would not be an issue imho.
  13. Apologies, my original point didn't make it clear i was talking with specific regards to work related issues and punishments/penalties from employer or relevant regulatory bodies.
  14. At least people are allowed to have different opinions from the party line [if their is one] on here without posts/threads being deleted and posters being banned for life for 'infraction of rules'.
  15. I assume attempts will be made to strip any/all trophies won by his current club i.e. Rangers over the entire period of 7 years when he committed these grossly unsporting acts. Obviously, in the interests of sporting integrity.
  16. With regards to suggestions above, and it being an addiction would that work? I do know, for a act, that you can't be punished for any alcohol related issues if you declare yourself an alcholic, do the same rules apply for gambling?
  17. Okay, notwithstanding the 3off witty responses above.....seriously, why don't FF put some money back into the club by sponsoring a player, something which both RM and VB already do? Any FF'ers on here want to offer some sort of sensible response/explaination?
  18. This^^^ Ladbrokes did grass him, Rangers should be telling them to grass EVERY other player at EVERY other club in Scotland in the interests of sporting intergrity of kick them the fuck out of Ibrox. What's the betting that the Ladbrokes employee who grassed him will be called Declan and will have a facebook page similar to the bheast on front of yesterdays Sun?
  19. Peronally, I'll stick with the old adage that 'he is innocent until proven guilty'. imho the whole thing stinks, he signed for us just over 12 months ago so the vast majority of his alledged conduct was by the law of averages was almost certainly carried out over the previous 6 year period when he played for ICT and Hearts, odd that he was only charged after he signed for Rangers.
  20. Just over 48hours to KO, so another wee bump for an ybears not aware of Erskine Bridge and crow Rd issues when heading to game.
  21. All inter-faction sniping aside, the VB certainly seem to be the group who are most pro-active in taking the fight to the real enemy as opposed to other Rangers fans. As an aside, noticed in the match programme this season and obviously through threads on here that VB, RM and VOLRSC all sponsor a player BUT strangely enough the self-proclaimed biggest Rangers forum [££] hasn't spend even 1p!!! Any FF'ers on here any idea why they don't sponsor a Rangers player?
  22. We {me/wife/mini-me and his wee pal) are doing hospitality this weekend, just been upgraded from Family Suite to Argyll and girl on phone mentioned a tour pre-match. How exactly does that work on a matchday, i assume there are areas on the stadium which are part of the full/normal tour which will be off-limits on a matchday?
  23. I don't quite understand what you are saying here. You think they are merely 'daft stories/stupid things', most Rangers fans seem to believe otherwise i.e. that there is indeed an organised campaign.
