The discrediting of King is solely down to him and his failed promises. If he'd even delivered on a 1/3 of what he promised, then he wouldn't get it so tight - but he promised the world and has so far delivered fuck all (and not being held to account for it). With regards to the retail deal, no one knows the in's and out's - but Sloths claim of 7p in the £ was vastly wrong as the accounts at the time showed to prove but it had the effect of stirring the gullible and easily led into boycotting our merchandise. Ashley couldn't give two fucks if he never earned a penny from our retail detail, he wasn't losing sleep over a boycott of our merchandise - where as we needed income of any amount, and something / anything would have been better than nothing (but then there was yon knock off / dodgy tops to shift - how much did they earn the club ). The poster IF was stating King is the only show in town, I stated he's toxic and what's costing us outside investment - it was simply a rhetorical question - would you join King on the board, or would you buy him out? If anyone says they would buy him out (rather than work alongside him) - then it speaks volumes about their opinion of King

Jesus Has it occurred to you that the reason we've failed to obtain any outside investment is because of King himself. He's toxic. Would you invest in us with him on board - our would you buy him out?

I don't think anyone actually hates King, it's just that he's failed to deliver on every promise made prior to coming in - and not being held to account for it. Where as had it been any of the previous boards doing the same then there would be demands for all sorts. Double standards much? As for C1872 asking questions, forget it.
