  1. I think it may be to save some embarrasment to be honest. For an organisation to have 5,000 "claimed" members and for it to decrease to around 800 members does not send the right message. It has been said before about the Irony in the situation where the RST are complaining how SDM runs a 40 million pound business when they cant even run a 800 member business themselves. I have said from my first day on here that their allignment to FF is their downfall. The leaders of the Trust are actually breaching their own codes and rules due to their connections to the above website on the basis that Rangers FC will have nothing to do with them.
  2. Lets hope its cancelled and ends up a League decider.
  3. CR - would it not be an idea to put a list on here in case anyone wants to proxy auction ?
  4. Why was it Murrays mistake ? Murray never spent 6.5 million on 3 strikers when he already had 3 capable of doing a job....... His monkey bain signed off on them though. The manager gives the chief exec a list of players he want's the chief execs job is then to negotiate with players and agents to get them signed for the club and since murray over sees this it's his fault Wot a load of tosh. It was Smiths and Smiths alone decision to buy 3 strikers. The contracts and cost play no part in it. If Smith had said. Go and sign 2 midfielders in Davis and Mendes before signing 3 more strikers, we would have made the CL. How anyone cant see that is totally beyond me. Unless its the blind hatred of SDM.

  6. Ok, how many members did you have last year? Oops. Dont expect that answered soon.... I'm fairly sure that, as one of those members, I'm entitled to the information. Funnily enough, I'm not holding my breath. PM me your name and membership number and I will send you the information. Been a while since i heard that line. The RST is now a secret society....

  8. Would agree with Whittaker but it wont happen. It will be a forward. Not Miller though.
  9. To be fair, its only 866 minutes so in the strictest sense of the word, he has played the equivalent of less than 10 games, though 1 goal is still a poor return One goal in 9.62 (accuracy!) games is a god awful return. It must be a mental thing. Not really. What a lot of people forget is that Boyd is a poacher. Nothing more. Nothing less. If he doesnt get chances, he wont make them. If the ball doesnt come in the box, he wont score them or very rarley score them. In his 9.62 games against Timmy, how many times did his team-mates put the ball in the box for him. What posession did Killie or Rangers have v Timmy as opposed to the rest of the SPL. Whilst it is my view Boyd should then work on that part of the game and improve, you cant ignore it for what it is. I'd disagree. For Scotland's top striker to have only scored once in over 9 games against Celtic is brutal, regardless if we make it look better and stick a cherry on top. Even if the majority of those games were with, what is, a bottom 6 team ?

It must be a mental thing. 18 games against celtic? Or even your later changed 9.62 games? I thought he had played 376 minutes against timmy? At technically 90 minutes a match.. Thats 4 and a bit games? To clarify, the 866 minutes is with Killie and Rangers v Timmy

  13. So if Boyd's scoring record against the scum was immence yet his scoring record against the other teams in the league was very poor would that mean he is a better striker? That makes no sense Ugo Ehiogu is a better striker than Boyd......FACT...
  14. I have 4 different sources mate. www.soccerbase.com Rangers - the complete record (book) Rangers Football companion (book) an xl spreadsheet that someone posted on here a while ago.
  15. He has played a total of 376 minutes against Timmy and scored once. Whilst that is way out of line with the rest of his stats, and despite me being undecided on him cause of his attitude, i dont think you can say thats the only team he can be judged against mate
  16. Of the 101 goals for Rangers, only 7 have been scored after coming on as a substitute.
  17. My thoughts exactly, speaks eloquently and with knowledge, good guy. I was actually being ironic, but in an unfair manner.....
  18. Ask and you shall receive AWAY GAMES ONLY V TOP 6 Goals scored v Top 6 = 16 Games started v Top 6 = 17 Goals per start v Top 6 = 0.94 Minutes played v Top 6 = 1503 A goal every 94 minutes v a Top 6 team
  19. 1. I know this is another Boyd thread but i feel the stats would be lost if lumped in with the generic one. 2. I am, as i have said on a number of occassion, on the fence with Boyd. Hit or a miss with me and wasnt too bothered if he left. 3. Listening to a few Timmies on the radio tonight spouting their usual pish and lies about he never scores against the Top 6 and it put me in the mood to check the facts out. So here they are. To quantify my rules of engagement here. I got the stats from every single Boyd Rangers appearance by date and corresponded each season with the Teams that finished in the Top 6 that particular season. So these stats are a true measure of how he has faired against the Top teams in Scotland. The minutes all end at 90 as it is impossible to tell injury time. Goals scored v Top 6 = 36 Games started v Top 6 = 40 Goals per start v Top 6 = 0.90 Minutes played v Top 6 = 3604 A goal every 100 minutes v a Top 6 team Goals scored v Bottom 6 = 50 Games started v Bottom 6 = 53 Goals per start v Bottom 6 = 0.94 Minutes played v Bottom 6 = 4699 A goal every 94 minutes v a Bottom 6 team So in short, what the above proves is that Boyds goalscoring record is actually only 6% worse against the Top 6 than it is against the Bottom 6. And Timmy, as well as a few on here, are firmly debunked with the Top 6 myth. I hope you all sleep better tonight now knowing this
  20. Back in the day, there were Real Gers fans who would do this when we got beat off Timmy. Too many fukcing hand-wringers with no baws amongst our support nowadays.
  21. there is a huge whoooooosh sound coming from this thread.
