Im not sure there was any specific reason mate. It was just one of those things that happened in football back in the day. They probably realised they didnt need them and took them away.

oof..... Mo Ross was awful mate. in your opinion when i watched him coming thru the ranks he was a better player than hutton but when he played a bad game his head went down and instead of us trying to encourage we just critisised just like we do with a few players I certainly give players time. (I know you were being general by the way) I thought Adam was a stand out at St Mirren and when he first broke into PLG team, he looked like he could go onto much bigger things. Unfortunately though all that happened was he got far too big headed and thought he had made it. His attitude towards some of the reserve players is shocking and my biggest beef with Charlie is THAT HE ACTUALLY has the talent. Maurice Ross was very much in the same category as Adam, with less talent. Got in the team, thought he had made it and then his off the park stuff had an effect on his game. Ive been in his company twice and he was an arse of a boy (seems to be a trait with a number of our ex players incidentally) I just dont get what it is about these type of players. They get the chance that 500,000 people would give their left arm for and then fuck it up. Its a pity we dont have guys with the attitude of Giggs, Beckham, Scholes etc etc who all broke through at a young age but kept the shite out of their life to concentrate on what they were getting paid to do, training and playing football whilst improving their skills.
