I think the only thing being said about Murty is he is not experienced enough for the role...the wrath is against the board. I will say again the board are duty bound to appoint the best possible candidate.

I for one hope Murty succeeds but I have serious reservations and I think the board have acted unprofessionally and have not appointed the best possible candidate.

It really has the impression of a constructive dismissal written over it or a professional individual distancing himself from an incompetent board... Why the hell come out with a statement of fact about your role when you've just appointed a manager....emm on second thoughts have we appointed a manager or just thrown an inexperienced youth coach into the lion's den... I want Robertson out now, I want the rest of them out within a year to hand over/sell to astute businessman with a business plan that can a) deal with a managerial appointment b) stabilise our finances c) appoint a CEO d) act in a dignified manner when dealing with club business They clearly are not up to the job...soft loans ain't the way forward we need revenue streams. Exactly it is a pop at the board just as the answer to the TOP question was a clear drawing of the line between the board and Dave King. Mark Allen's statement is clearly stating the appointment of Murty has very little to do with me and if they think I'm the fall guy for the boards indecision / incompetence think again.

What worried me was Murty looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights at that press conference... Doncha just love this regime...fills ya with confidence?
