Any scheme rewarding supporter loyalty has to be a good thing.

Surely this is the most glaringly obvious point.Well that has brightened up my morning.
It would be good if Craig was on here and able to answer questions to be fair, so not sure if anyone has an open line to him through FB or Twitter. According to him on that video there are investors whom he is in contact with who want to re-invest and would write a cheque immediately for more than £1.5m. That being the case, then clearly these people believe in Wallace and back the current Board otherwise why would they get their blank cheques out and ask for nothing in return. Having said that, how the hell do they know they would ask "for less in return" when they dont actually know what the deal is ?
As for asking other shareholders to invest, then I know im right in saying that Resolution 9 puts a limit on the amount of shares they can offer out to existing shareholders of £434,000 of share value, with or without a consideration of cash and i believe im right in saying that Resolution 10, if passed, would have allowed them to issue further shares to existing investors for a cash consideration however as it wasnt then this prevents them from doing so.
So, following on from that, until a secondary share issue is ready to go, then their hands were tied in the amount of shares they could allocate and it stands to reason that if the 2 biggest proxy shareholders are willing to put up £1.5m in return for £434k of shares, as things stand today, then there is no point in speaking to anyone else.
I think i stood up for the guy after an appearance on Sportsound by saying he actually came across ok on there and to be fair, again, he came across ok on that video, but surely to christ somebody who supports them will have a word in his ear and tell him how cheesy that whole set up was, and also, like Brian Bowman used to do, by speaking "well" about things he clearly does not have a handle on, will influence others to simply believe and not ask questions of him.
It's reassuring to know that investors are queueing up to write blank cheques with no interest or equity payback though..

Nuff said.I haven't been advertising in this thread
I would like to see what makes you think that so that it can be addressed as the last thing Rangers First needs is to be tarred as an ego trip. It really isn't about that from what I can see
-
You just get on with your advertising. You were doing well up till now.....Where do you see that?
-
Aye, but don't think that is ever likely to happen though.Yeah, agree with that.
But could you imagine if a tim tried to start some kind of fans scheme that would allow some clique to form and call for EGM's every 5 minutes and constantly undermine the board and scare away serious investors, and constantly call for Paul Murray to get that blazer?
Maybe not at the start, but within a short period those egos you spoke off would be in full control of the whole scheme. (RST fashion)
Scarey thought eh.
-
It's not the driving seat though.I think what Corky is trying to ask you in a diplomatic way, is, are you a tim?
The reason he asks I presume, is because if you are, we should know about it as we dont really want a tim squeezing himself into the driving seat, or having any kind of say what so ever in the future of our club.
You see, there have been one or two instances in the recent past when one or two of them have tried to cause us a wee bit of trouble, and we are very defensive these days.
Just another passing taxi.
RangersFirst aren't going to be the next directors at Ibrox.
Just another vehicle for egos as far as I can see.

'Fuck' them all, eh?
No doubt been done but would be a great thread nonetheless.
That against a foreign Rangers 11.........tasty..

This scheme is hardly about to bring about our downfall regardless of where the organisers went to school.
Don't get involved if you don't want to. I won't be.
The Ian bloke who started this thread sounds totally genuine and the Louden lad speaks very well. Some advertising the Louden are getting on here n' all.
Fairplay.
-
Wouldn't have filled it in if I thought it was a total waste of time.Even if the worst came to the worst they would just use the rangers number ones anyway.
It's certainly not a waste of time, I applaud the club on this and how they have 'tried' to incude us all.
Just pointing out the obvious. Using the surveys with genuine Rangers numbers would be the only way to take it seriously I reckon.
Open up a survey for all to be included by taking phone numbers and e-mail addresses if they are serious about listening to fans worldwide.
-
I've filled in the survey with my known e-mail address, phone no. and Rangers number. It doesnt take a genius to work out that "haha yir clubs deed" is going to be some bheast ripping the pish does it?
It's a nice idea. Not particularly workable in this case IMO. Gonna be a lot of fucked up info in this survey Godfather. I still filled it in as a Rangers supporter anyhow.
-
You reckon they are going to have Rangers nous people going through thousands of surveys to fish out the trolls? How?
What were they supposed to do? Rangers fans all over the world who are signed up to the website want their say too.
Wallace and co would be slated if they only allowed ST ect to have their views.
It's easy enough as ES said about to fish out the pish from these surveys, you just have to look at a certain category to judge if it's genuine or not.
-
It is pathetic but it's hardly a surprise. Maybe a bit of naivety been shown by Wallace and the board here.I assume they will verify most with the Rangers number. Sad sad sad individuals in this world trying to ruin it. Frankly pathetic.
-
Haven't been excited about a Scotland game for ages. Last real buzz was Euro 96 with Ally scoring against the Swiss.
Far rather Lee kept fit for Rangers.
-
In Wallace's interview he stated he wanted a response from Rangers fans worldwide.
Just having respondents with Rangers numbers would have prevented taigy troll hijacking the survey but wouldn't have reached the wider audience he spoke of.
Nice idea anyway.
-
Always will be this for me until the next one.
-
I drink alcohol so wouldn't really mind anyone apart from Frosty Jacks, Special Brew or Buckfast.et al
I don't do skint day loans so would probably cringe at Wonga Wonga...et al
-
Boyd?
Not for me. Not again. Would do better than Little and I reckon about the same as Daly.
I'd love to see Nicky Clark come through and shine with one of the younger lads coming through as support. I know Clark isn't an experienced head but would be fantastic to see him repeat his last QoS season with Rangers with one of the under 20's coming through.
-
Can't see how this can be a bad thing. If fans want to get involved in this it's their personal call.
If you don't want to get involved just let them get on with it.
-
Barry isn't the sharpest tool in the box obviously. He's taken on a management roll and most likely already been to management media and PR classes. Practice on Blackpool Barry not Rangers.
Can't believe some on here are having a go at Jig. I've not seen every game, but the ones I have he has always been solid enough and is definintely not an over the hill deadweight. He carried the team through a lot of last season and played wherever he was needed. Another decent centre half should see him in the squad as the utility player he's more than proven himself to be. Already a legend for me and not taken as much from the club as others who have done far less.
Whyte is an utter moron who only deserves mentioning in the guilty verdict in future court cases.
Green worked his ticket in the end IMO but it was good to have such a gritty strong character around when they were trying to bribe us of the titles.
As for SDM. I just can't believe he made fortunes from Rangers as others here have stated. Surely he must have lost millions over the piece? Maybe someone can explain how he got out without massive financial losses. I just don't get that one.
-
If the ball was to fall at the feet of any Rangers player inside the box (past or present ) i'd want it to be Kris Boyd .Goals per chances ratio is best i've seen at Ibrox.Negri only had half a season so does'nt count for me .Mols had most ability and super Ally had a bit of everything .
-
Fair point. Just posted on a whim.Probably similar stats to Durie over the same number of years
-
Naismith?
Have you stats to back that one up?
My Ally thread - warning it's positive and supportive

Was just thinking earlier how well Ally has done since admin considering he has not bought one single player, but only had to rely on which players were out of contract to pick from....
BTW, I thought RM didn't allow swearing in thread titles? Am sure I seen an admin or mod post that in a comment a couple of weeks ago..
