  1. Been quite a few times. Usually booked in for a meal but been to the carvery a couple of times too, the foods been top notch every time and the staff are always really friendly as well. Definitely recommend it to anyone that's never been.
  2. Why Rooney's name to emphasise the achievement? He's a striker, completely irrelevant. And saying international friendly isn't playing it down it's stating a fact, that's all it was. Instead of your childish response of "fuck off mate" why don't you prove me wrong and tell me what a class league the MLS is and perhaps name some of the seemingly brilliant defenders Miller has came up against over there? And you may want to check your facts again before claiming he scored a double against England.
  3. Hardly a fair comparison to be fair given the amount of starts for them to the amount he's had for us.
  4. The irony of this statement is superb. Accuse me of picking words to suit my argument and then you sugarcoat him scoring in an international friendly by mentioning Wayne Rooney. You judge a player on one performance all you like, meanwhile in the real world I'll look at the bigger picture and see that 13 goals in 43 games in an absolute piss poor league isn't the form of a player at the top of his game, it's the form of a player on his way out. I dare say he'll come up against SOME tougher defences in the championship than he has in the MLS so we'll see how that pans out if he does in fact sign.
  5. A 34 year old striker would be a major coup? Are you for real?
  6. Anyone who still thinks we're getting a quality player is kidding themselves, Vancouver are a pish outfit and as far as I'm aware they never exactly fought tooth and nail to keep him (someone correct me if I'm wrong). He'd be a bit part/impact sub at any other club he goes to at this stage in his career but guaranteed if McCoist gets him he won't miss a minute of the season for us. And before anyone refers to that video of him supposedly having a good game. Bradley Wright Phillips is averaging a goal every 2 games in the MLS and he's utter dugmeat.
  7. Never fails to amaze me how quick some of our fans are to dismiss a players ability.
  8. 42 goals in the 2nd division playing for QoS says he's a good striker. Especially when you consider none of our players, not even our "SPL" players got close to that figure in the same league.
  9. That back 4 combined with a keeper who hasn't played in 2 years frightens the shite out of me in all honesty.
  10. I like him, think his movement and work rate at times is class and think he could be a good goal scorer for us if he gets a regular run in the team. Injuries and being in and out of the side won't have helped his confidence and neither will the pressure of feeling like he had to bang in another 40 goals this season but I really believe he'll come good for us.
  11. Aye for the worse! Never seen a group of fans so happy to see the back of a manager. By all accounts he went on a mad power trip and started sacking backroom staff all over the place and completely alienated himself from everyone at the club. And the fact that he's "a good rangers man" is fucking irrelevant to his skills as a manager and I really wish everyone would stop making it out to be some sort of criteria that needs to be met.
  12. Apparently the sun are going with the story today as well. Miller denied any contact on BBC yesterday though, instead touting himself for another crack at England or a move to Europe. No doubt when neither materialises he'll be battering down McCoist's door for the contract we all know he'll get.
  13. 23 goals in the last 3 years mate. Took him 86 games to do it though.
  14. Seen McCoist getting a bit of stick on here from some for letting Hemmings go. He was pish whenever he got a chance IMO. Glad to seem him doing well elsewhere though.
  15. To be fair at least Miller will run for it so that tactic will work a lot better than the current "lump it forward and find Daly" Still a shite tactic all the same.
  16. Good luck to him if he does go. He'll definitely get more first team opportunities there.
  17. Commentary after his 2nd goal sums up our tactics next season perfectly. "Lump it forward and find Kenny Miller"
  18. 13 goals in 43 games playing in the MLS but aye fuck it he's scored in an international friendly sign him up!
  19. Another thread on logos peeling off the kit. Smashing.
  20. Playing lower league football in Sweden now I'm sure. Highly rated player who just never made the grade.
  21. Cringeworthy how many people are trying to justify this potential signing with the excuse "but he scored against England!"
  22. I think Miller signing would see Clark getting even less game time than he already is.
  23. Says on the BBC he's doesn't think the chance of the Premiership down south will come up again but other than that he's ruling nothing out whether it's down south, abroad or Scotland. The whoring has begun! Lol Tbh I started doubting him signing for us when I was reading people saying his deal is supposedly lower than Faure's reported £4k a week. It just doesn't sound very... Miller.
  24. Until he's actually signed a deal I wouldn't believe a word the papers or Miller say. I wouldn't put it past him being the sort to go through the medical etc. at a club and then disappear at the last minute for an extra grand a week.
