I know he was top scorer but he. Could have set a precedent for player to score most goals in a season than any other player has done. The amount of chances he missed is unbelievable and a lot of them were only a few yards/feet out and simple enough headers or tap in. Frustrating is a mild word for the chances he has missed. Then he will score a goal from a difficult angle or not so easy to score. Here's hoping he finds consistency this season.

Can't grumble too much on last nights game, even Morelos scored ?
Still a new team basically , and will gel as the new season in the SPFL starts.
Hopefully they are ready for the first clash against the sheep.
A good win there will set us up for a good season.

Not the point, they broke the rules.
If it were us that done it, do you honestly think we would have gotten off so lightly?

At a disciplinary hearing today (Monday 23 July) a sub-committee of the SPFL Board charged Heart of Midlothian Football Club with playing an ineligible player (Andrew Irving) in their Betfred Cup group stage match against Cove Rangers FC on 18 July 2018.
Heart of Midlothian admitted breaching SPFL Rules and were deducted two points from their Betfred Cup first-round group stage tally.
The Club were also fined £10,000 (of which £8,000 was suspended until the end of season 2019/20).

If they were to take this to arbitration......Would Scottish football have to cease until it is resolved?

Have to agree Morelos has lost it,
looks even slower, and worse with the heading. control of ball is useless,
loses it more by holding on too long, doesn't make a simple pass when needed.
For a moment he does something right but we need it for a whole game, not for a moment in time.
He's not going to improve.
Has to be dropped and brought on as a useless sub to waste time.
What am I not seeing that the managers see?

I missed it due to getting in 5 mins late. Bloody traffic was horrendous.

We still have players of interest in the pipeline but whether a good striker is on that search, I don't know. I hope so?
It wasn't long for the fans to lose patience. Maybe we are expecting too much this early in the season.
I have lost patience with Morelos, I honstly think if management want to keep starting him, then put him in midfield
as he is mince as a striker.
The ref was shocking as well. Where the heck did they dig him up from?

I think they do these things just to get attention as their sales are so shite like their stories.
Only need to use one photo and one that is appropropriate considering they say ex Arsenal player.

Overall, it was a good result, Friendly I know, but previous friendlies have been woeful
which was a forerunner for the season ahead last season.
Morelos has not improved any. Works hard but striker position is not for him. Not sure what is?
Agree with westenclosure on him. Players were working a new way of playing so given time, all
should click in nicely for the game against the mhanks. I liked Katic. He was the one who was catching my eye all through the game.
The real test comes in the real games.

Morelos mix hit his shot and probably lucky it went in. Misfit as often as you like so long as it produces
A goal. Still not totally happy with him. Once he bangs a few in against the taigs then I will be totally happy.
